In the green of Tuscany La Gegia Matta is the guesthouse of Villa Ruschi, a magnificent eighteenth-century property characterized by the typical Tuscan style. It is located in the center of Calci, in Val Graziosa and is easily accessible both by car and motorcycle. Ideal base for discovering the treasures of our city and the famous Tuscan art cities. You can enjoy our sea and cuisine based on fresh fish. Coffee, tea, herbal teas, milk and cookies are offered. The quiet and picturesque neighborhood is a 10-minute drive or 20-minute bike ride from the Center.

The house is in the heart of the village of Sant'Andrea di Compito, an ancient village on a hill, which is about 10 km from Lucca. The area is very quiet and relaxing, surrounded by the green countryside; the house for 4 (1850), large garden, is all in stone. from August 2020, a new small swimming pool is available for guests and residents of the unfinished court (NEW POOL!!!). The pool must be used in compliance with the house rules. All water games are absolutely forbidden.

The house is a rustic stone and wood house in the Apuan Alps park, an ideal place for those who want to take walks in the woods and get to know and visit the attractions of Versilia and Tuscany between the sea and mountains. The house consists of a full kitchen and has a wood stove or heat pumps for heating, a double sofa bed, and on the second floor the full bedroom and full bathroom, and outside a terrace, then a loft with a single bed.
