House vacation rentals in La Lande-de-Fronsac

Our party (5 couples) stayed at the property looking for an authentic experience of French food and wine, and hoping for a bit of rustic luxury sprinkled on top and this place did not disappoint. Everyone was blown away by the house's beautiful interiors, exteriors and amazing views. The house had everything we needed (and more). We loved the large outdoor table where we could all sit comfortably for a social breakfast and enjoy the stunning vistas. The location of the house is superb, surrounded by beautiful views and very peaceful. The bike ride to St Emillion took us along quiet country roads, meandering past many exquisite chateaus and vineyards. Finally, special mention to our wonderful host Ellie who couldn't do enough for us. Great recommendations, excellent local knowledge, extremely helpful and thoughtful, super fast to respond to any messages, and really flexible and generous.

Château Le Grave is a beautiful property and was a wonderful choice for our group holiday. We had a lovely stay and found the house very comfortable. The photos don’t quite do it justice—it’s even more charming in person. The kitchen is well-equipped, which made cooking for our group easy and enjoyable. There were a few small issues that affected the overall experience. There wasn’t quite enough toilet paper provided for the weekend, the pool area didn’t have lighting at night, and we encountered an electrical issue that we needed to resolve ourselves. I noticed similar mentions in past reviews, so it may be worth addressing these for future guests. Communication with the host could have been more positive. There was some confusion regarding the cleaning fee, which had already been included in the booking total, and we were asked to pay extra for a few broken glasses, which seemed inexpensive to replace. That said, the property itself is truly lovely and we had a great time.

Good large house overall - good spot for a family. The location is very residential so not much to do around and not super close to the city centre by foot. The parking is good for 1 car so if you are multiple families it may be a bit tough. The house was clean, good appliances and amenities in the kitchen so perfect to cook. The outdoor space is nice and adds a plus to the house. The host is not super fast to respond and the check in is very late so to note if you have children as you can’t enter before 5pm. Very kids friendly and enough space for families to be around and feel at ease.

We stayed here for our first family holiday with our 5 month old and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for it. As others have mentioned, the property and grounds are even more beautiful than the photos suggest. The property had everything we could need. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with high quality finishes and furnishings. It really felt like a home from home. The hosts were kind enough to provide baby equipment too so everything was very easy for the 3 of us. Portets is lovely, with a bakery, pharmacy & supermarket, which was ideal for us as we cooked all our meals at the house. We didn’t have a car but managed with just these facilities nearby, as we were very happy just spending time by the pool & in the house. We also walked to one of the vineyards for a tour which was great. We particularly enjoyed the pool and the loungers, including the cabana which offered some shade. We would recommend this property without hesitation and can’t wait to return!

Nathalie and Hubert were very kind and friendly. The place was pristine, beautiful and relaxing. You have to hire a car to visit places in Bordeaux but Hubert provided many great suggestions of local wineries and things to do. He was always responsive and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Bordeaux.

Our stay at Laurent's house was very pleasant. Everything was at our disposal - large peaceful garden, heated pool, equipped kitchen, large living room and comfortable bedrooms. Very good communication with Laurent who was available if we needed anything. The house is located in a very quiet location, and gave us a lot of comfort for our family and baby.

Emma's place is stunning and our group had an amazing stay there! We were a group of 7 adults and 3 children and we had everything we could have wanted and needed at Emma's place. The kitchen is well-equipped and the garden is wonderful for outside dining and for the children to roam around. We really didn't want to leave! Emma was so kind to help us with our constant questions - she is the perfect host. Thank you for having us, Emma!

We stayed for 1 week in this beautiful Gite with everything available from crockery to towels. There is a pool on site which is secluded and only for use by the people staying in the Gites. The location is very good for getting to surrounding villages by car or bike. There is a hiking/biking circuit. Bordeaux is 45 min drive away. Bergerac is about a hour away. We had a lovely relaxing time there, so quiet, the sound of birds in the morning is so lovely to hear. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Very pleasant stay, allowing you to decompress. very peaceful place, prone to meditation and conveniently located. Very discreet host, but still very professional and available if necessary and very responsive.

Great location... easy to access. Very well arranged. Very clean. Superb bathroom shower. Bathtub and separate toilet. Great bedding.. i recommend it.

We had a perfect week at Émilie's cottage. The apartment was very nice and the estate very beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the pool and its beautiful sun terrace very much. Our little cat was also delighted to enjoy the garden. Thanks to Émilie for hosting us and for her good advice!

Delphine was a fantastic host! Being a large group, it’s always hard to find a suitable place but this was perfect. Watersports on our door step, and beautiful sunsets every night. As a host, Delphine was great… always answered my messages and helped when we had a huge storm that stopped the electrics for some hours! Thanks for a memorable stay!

We had a great weekend at Nathalie's, impeccable accommodation, we were able to enjoy its sheltered outdoor area in the evening to have a good meal in a warm atmosphere. Quiet and unobtrusive place. We recommend it without hesitation

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. It was spacious and the quality of the bedding was a standout. Our family really enjoyed the Scandinavian experience with the sauna and the spa - a must visit for the winter! And special thanks to Stephanie for the warm welcome and being helpful before and during our stay.

I stayed here with in a group of 4, and I must say we very much enjoyed our time. Jules was very responsive to all queries, and his house was perfect for our time in Bordeaux. Jules also very accommodating to our requests - he is most definitely a super host! I would recommend Jules' house to anyone looking to stay in Bordeaux for a weekend.

The house is warm, welcoming, very clean and perfectly furnished. Everything is well thought out and well-equipped, which makes it very cozy. The surrounding calm and pleasant exterior allow a real disconnection. The parking space right in front is a real plus. Max is very nice, smiling, available and attentive. Everything went wonderfully, we would have liked to stay a little longer. We would highly recommend this property!

Perfect house! Impeccable cleanliness, more equipped than necessary, there was everything, especially in the kitchen… a joy for the gourmets that we are! Great bedding. Very good baby equipment. Very quiet environment, the view of the vineyards from the kitchen is exotic. Very responsive host, a plus. In short, we will gladly go back if we return to the area.

We had a great time in this relaxing, soothing home. The house is very spacious, which is very comfortable and everyone can have independent and isolated rest areas both indoors and outdoors. This building is really worth knowing about. Nina and Axel are very organized and efficient in giving all the instructions and in an ultra-fast way. We recommend this stone house combining charm and character.

Mickael's house is sublime, easy to access and relaxing. We had a great time at this peaceful haven where everything is very functional. We'll be back with great pleasure, the quiet environment and amenities won us over.

We had a wonderful stay at Maxime’s villa - it was perfect for our family. The grounds are stunning and we were able to enjoy nights out by the pool with the BBQ going. The house is gorgeous and gave us plenty of room for our group. Maxime was very quick to get back to me if I had a query and was exceptionally helpful. Would definitely recommend if you want quiet, peaceful surroundings

The accomodation was absolutely incredible we rented the whole place for a celebration and everyone had the best stay with amazing views of the vineyards. Private car park and abundance of bathrooms (in each room) and was super clean and organised. The host is amazing and very friendly and responds very quickly with great recommendations! Highly recommend!!
