Kid-friendly vacation rentals in La Chapelle-sur-Loire

Wat een fantastisch charmante en vriendelijke dame is Catherine en wat een meer dan geweldige gites heeft ze. Een parel met een tuin waar je je over zal verbazen. Er zit hier zoveel liefde in. In het echt in de gites met het buitenverblijf nog veel mooier dan op de foto’s. Brandschoon, verse bloemen op tafel en van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren zo onder de indruk dat we niet uit eten zijn gegaan maar zelf wat hebben gekookt (met verse salie uit haar kruidentuin) en op ons fijne terras hebben opgegeten. De omgeving is ook adembenemend. We hebben een aantal chateau’s bezocht en op een fijn terras in Chinon even wat gedronken. Gisteravond kwam Catherine nog wat verse melisse aanbieden, om een kopje thee te maken voor een goede nachtrust. Hoe lief! Vanmorgen met een hug afscheid genomen en dit adres in onze top 5 gezet om zeker terug te keren.

Franck’s property was impeccable, and the natural environment surrounding it was peaceful and so lovely. Franck greeted us warmly and was responsive to questions throughout the stay. The home was spacious and well-stocked. We stayed during an especially warm time, and Franck supplied a portable A/C unit and fan for the upstairs, so we slept comfortably. We would definitely stay again!

Une longère très bien rénovée! Très clair, propre, bien équippée. Carmen a été très rapide à répondre à mes questions. L'endroit était confortable, très paisible et plein de sérénité. Absolutment rien à redire!

stayed at Cyril's cottage in Benais and everything was wonderfully stocked and clean with all the conveniences you have at home. The cottage is a 2 storey older building with a completely renovated kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Because of the winding staircase I would not recommend the cottage for people with mobility issues. We are 75 years old and were able to manage the stairs. Cyril was very helpful explaining the features of the cottage and also provided some tips of chateaus to visit. I recommend this place.

We had a wonderful break in this accommodation. Such a lovely location and the house is clean and comfortable with everything you need. The village is beautiful and people are friendly. Maxime was a great host. We will hopefully be back soon.

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad met ons gezin (kinderen van 1 en 3 jaar oud). Het huis is landelijk gelegen en daardoor heerlijk rustig. Voor de kinderen was er zowel binnen als buiten veel te doen: speelgoed, spelletjes, een fijne tuin: echt ideaal voor jonge kinderen. Ook in de omgeving zijn er genoeg leuke uitjes en plekjes om te ontdekken. Alles was schoon, netjes en goed verzorgd. We hebben echt genoten van de rust, ruimte en kindvriendelijkheid. Een aanrader!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Coraline ! L'endroit est magnifique et paisible, ce qui correspond exactement à ce que nous cherchions. Un petit endroit de paradis au milieu des arbres. Pour ce qui est du logement, un seul mot : perfection. Tout est pensé pour les visiteurs, on ne peut manquer de rien et c'est d'une propreté irréprochable. L'accueil de Coraline était très chaleureux avec beaucoup de bienveillance et de conseils ! Elle nous a indiqué tout ce qu'il y avait à voir dans la région. C'est le meilleur séjour que nous avons passé pour l'instant et le recommandons vivement. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

What a gem! The Red House sits perfectly nestled in the picturesque, quaint medieval village of Chinon with close access to restaurants, shops, and parking at the bottom of a sloped cobblestone street. From the door of the lodging you can walk up to the fortress in about 5 minutes! We were charmed by this historic home and comfortable during our stay. The rooms were clean, well appointed, and provided for all of our needs. Please note that the staircase to get up to the Airbnb is steep and uneven.

The apartment had a lot of character and well located. One issue was that with 4 people the one bathroom was something that had to be negotiated between us, but it worked out. There is little free on street parking, but the pay rate for parking is not bad. Very accommodating host. Worked out well for us.

Meilleur AirBnb Ever. Enfin !!! Alleluiah ;) Un Airbnb ou les personnes ont pensé à toutes les petites choses, on est comme à la maison ;) Allez-y les yeux fermés. Extrêmement propre, pratique, salle de bain au top, pas de limite d'eau chaude comme souvent ;) Etc etc... En résumé parfait. Bon séjour à tous ;)

Bonne expérience. Le logement était conforme à la description. Très agréable, bien agencé, très chaleureux et fonctionnel. Le lit est très grand et l'accès au jardin (un véritable petit écrin de verdure) est un vrai bonus. Le seul bémol pourrait venir du stationnement. Aux heures où le quartier est fréquenté, il est plutôt difficile de trouver une place pour se garer à proximité du logement. Je recommande sans hésiter pour un séjour à Saumur.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Stéphanie et Nicolas. L’appartement est cosy et calme, très bien situé pour visiter Tours sans avoir besoin de prendre la voiture. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Nicolas qui a pris le temps de nous conseiller sur les différents monuments à visiter et les restaurants à proximité. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir et nous recommandons vivement Le Ouistiti !

Our family of 4 had a wonderful overnight stay here. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Conny met us at the flat ahead of time and made sure we had everything we need. We loved having 2 bathrooms. Close to everything in Tours. Only suggestion is for a pillow and towel refresh. We would definitely stay here again!
