Kid-friendly vacation rentals in La Chapelle-d'Abondance

it's a place in good fantastic season. the vision of the lake every day is a living picture. Swim there without a wow crowd. 2 good restaurants. the famous nets of perch of the lake, with a view of a treat. small town where it's nice to stay. there are lots of beautiful discoveries around the France or Switzerland side.

Our stay was most enjoyable. The house offers all the amenities for a week-long stay. Thirty minutes from the train station, the walk is pleasant. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the place and the modernity of the facilities.

Sebastien responded quickly to our messages, communication was easy, not complicated and friendly, we felt comfortable. The cottage was as described, clean, very, very well equipped (better than described), the magnificent view, and the sauna and jakuzi great. In short, a lovely vacation for us.

The most amazing spot! We had the most perfect stay with our 2 year old son. The house was exactly as described and spotless with the bonus of parking. The host was so helpful and very gracious, despite our timekeeping. The terrace was superb with stunning sunset views. We loved driving along to Talloires which had great restaurants, along with an amazing boulangerie (Le Fournil de mon Père). The beaches in Talloires and Angon were great. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

A beautiful place in a beautiful and quiet setting. 5 minutes to the centre of Chamonix. We were a family of four (with teenage children) and we were very comfortable. Delphine was a lovely host and quick to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend staying here!

They are very polite and helpful and swet family. It's very worthful, if you are having your own car. Cottage is very clean and neat, It gives feel of visiting Village.

One of those ‘even better than expected’ places on Airbnb. Modern, clean, well designed apartment with amazing views over the lake. Location is great - walkable to a number of lake beaches and the village. Host is super responsive and super helpful! Would 100% stay again! 🤍

One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in! The host is kind, responsive, and extraordinary helpful. We felt welcomed and right at home. You sleep right beside the stars and wake up to the sun on lake Geneva. Perfection. Plus, all of the extra recommendations and transportation passes are such a bonus!

Warm welcome by Jane upon arrival. Very nice and super well-equipped accommodation with stunning views of the mountains and ski slopes. Beautiful terrace where it's good to relax. Absolute calm not overlooked. Impeccable bedding with great duvet. Ideal for two families, without saving on its privacy as two double bedrooms and two bunk beds that can accommodate 4 children. 2 separate toilets and two bathrooms. We had a great time with our 4 grandchildren at Jane's. Essential vehicle to get to the chairlift or gondola because it's a little out of the city center and shuttles.

great stay! We were with 2 adults and 2 children that went well despite the small space. Think of a "Tiny house". location couldn't be better. Everything is close by.

The apartment is clean, welcoming, matches the listing, quiet, and very close to the center. Access is easy, and the view is very beautiful. Great for a couple! Mathieu, the co-host, was able to give us all the directions to find the apartment, and even advise us on local activities. We felt very good about it. We highly recommend this apartment, and we will most likely return!

Thierry’s place was amazing! Everything was very well prepared and Thierry was very quick to respond to any questions that came up. We had a little trouble finding the place and Thierry came and met us and showed us where to go. Thierry was a fantastic host! The view from the house is so beautiful! Pictures don’t quite capture it. Kitchen was well equipped and showers had great water pressure. The place does not have A/C (which we were aware of) but even with the fans it was still quite warm due to the hot summer temperatures we had during our stay. This is not a complaint, just something to be aware of. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality Thierry!

Super nice host, a very nice phone call to explain everything to us after our arrival, always responsive. The accommodation is frankly perfect for 2, refurbished, very small but super functional with all the amenities you need. We'll be happy to come back, the landscapes are breathtaking, lots of hiking, activities and restaurants nearby. Thank you very much Mathieu.

A very nice apartment. Check-in and check-out well organized. Great location. We liked it. The street is busy, so we had to keep the windows closed at night. The windows are well insulated, but you could still easily hear the traffic. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the beach, but we were able to lie down next to the water.

Matches what was advertised. Possibility of using the garage and the very beautiful setting.

Can’t say good enough things about the host and the apartment. Was perfect for our weeks skiing for my family with 3 children. Will book again if I come to Châtel and will recommend! 5 star!

We had a great welcome from Jean Luc upon arrival, with ideas for walks in Evian and the surrounding area. The apartment is in a very good location in the center and Lake Evian. The city is nice. The apartment has everything you need (like at home). The garden is nice for naps. 😉 We had a great time and recommend.
