Family-friendly vacation rentals in La Balme-de-Thuy

Very pleasant stay in this quiet accommodation with stunning views. Comfort and very high-quality equipment, we had a very pleasant weekend. Thank you to Marie for her little attention on arrival which was much appreciated.

Great extended weekend at Amandine's. The cottage is comfortable and friendly. The Nordic bath is a plus. The nearby hikes are very beautiful! A small haven of peace!

Hélène's accommodation is very well-equipped, very welcoming, a nice terrace and on the edge of a beautiful river. Hélène is a very attentive and available host. I recommend it for a peaceful, quiet stay, close to Annecy but away from its hustle and bustle!

A really unusual and beautifully converted little mazot or chalet. Looks characterful and rustic on the outside but it was very modern and nicely kitted out on the inside. The space is tiny but we found it perfect for two. We were there in June so could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. We are both over 6ft so had to watch our heads in the bedroom which is in the eaves. We also found the stairs very steep and tricky so would caution people who are not very sure on their feet. One had to be very careful with middle of the night trips downstairs downstairs to the bathroom! Both the living room and the bedroom have a traditional unglazed window which is sealed by a large wooden door which it is brilliant to throw open to enjoy the mountain air, even when it's raining or snowing. Very atmospheric! The mazot is in a quite spot just on the edge of town but everything is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is even a japanese and also a savoyard restaurant a few minutes walk away.

We had a great weekend in this small cottage with very welcoming, flexible hosts and with good recommendations. The accommodation is very good, I would highly recommend it!

Very functional and pleasant house with great views. Top level petanque court, nice jacuzzi well located in the garden and sheltered. Close to the lake where the pedal boats and paddleboards are, tennis court available nearby. We had a great time with the family, spacious rooms with all the necessities. Super equipped kitchen. Very pleasant terrace in the morning. In short, we recommend

A home away from home in Aix Les Bains! We loved Danny’s home and felt very comfortable. It is very spacious with two outdoor areas and a very convenient garage with a lift. The apartment is right in the heart of the old town but peaceful. Danny has gone out of her way to decorate the space stylishly and provide everything you could need and more. The kitchen is well equipped and plenty of good quality linen is provided. The lounge area is spacious and includes a Murphy bed. The town of Aix Les Bains has plenty of restaurants (5 mins walk) and a lovely lake (40 mins walk). We would highly recommend the apartment.

An unforgettable stay in a real corner of paradise. The house is so well located, you don't believe it, you think you're on a private beach, just beautiful (and very quiet!) We return home, rested, refreshed, thank you to Dominique for hosting us.

The location of this room is unbeatable! It’s right in the heart of the historic district, and very easy to return to the room between activities. The lake, castle, train/ bus station, restaurants, bike rentals, etc are easily walkable. No problems with noise. Basic cooking is possible. Washer only, no dryer. Towels, basic toiletries, hair dryer (with diffuser!), umbrella are available.

A fabulous hideaway, so quiet, no noisy roads, no noisy people. Just perfect. Lovely and warm, very clean, full of everything we needed. Was great to just read and not have a TV And we didn't need a microwave because we were able to cook ourselves easily. Plenty warm water and so luxurious to have a bath in the apartment, fantastic!! Also Samoens has lots of reasonably priced restaurants and cafes. In addition we were able to use a couple of spare towels as a curtain in the bedroom, so no problems at all. The information provided was so thorough, there was nothing we didn't understand. A wonderful place to stay for a week Thank you so much Scotti You have been amazing, I hope we can stay again ❤️

A fantastic location in the old town of Annecy. Parking close by . The apartment is as described,a lovely renovation of a historical property and walkable to restaurants and the lake . Very comfy bed and well equipped for eating in if you prefer. We enjoyed touring the lake and spending time on the water and at a great location in the mountains to watch the paragliding .

Very centrally located for trips to Annecy or Chamonix. Mathias gave us great tips for excursion destinations.

We came to Michel & Svetlana's to stay during the animation festival in Annecy. We were extremely well received, the accommodation is perfect as well as its location, which is easy to find (20 minutes from the city center), quiet and beautiful. Everything is very good... Except for me, the contact. You give it importance or you don't give it importance but I haven't had any contact with Christele except by SMS. This is not my vision of Airbnb but a perfectly liberal vision… Just the impression of being a cash drawer, two text messages to remind me to leave at 10 a.m. for the next tenant and that's it. I'm giving 5 stars because I don't want to harm Christele... But maybe Christele is called Georges... Basically, I don't know... I'm probably old-fashioned... I'm sending a final text to inform you of my departure... And nothing, no return, not even a good road... quickly to the next!! In short, for the rest of the services… nothing to complain about, the value for money is very good, this rental was efficient, profitable, productive. Thank you, Georges...

A cosy appartment with a phenomenal view, very well located in Arcs 1600 with direct access to ski slopes. Nice terrass too. Good parking place as well where the car is parked safe and shielded. Excellent communication and clear instructions on how to get there.

We had a pleasant stay at Emmanuelle's. Our dog Paco and we were delighted to stay at the chalet. Spaces are large and clean. The garden is enclosed and private, which makes it a major asset. We had our independence, all 15 minutes from Annecy city center. Thank you so much!
