Although no sea view from the unit itself you can fall asleep while listening to the waves crashing at night. Lovely tidal pools to bathe in or to fish. The main Blue flag beach is a short stroll away. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a firepit, braai area outside in the private garden area. Owners willing to assist wherever needed.

Our quaint sea-side cottage is located on Pennington’s favoured beachside Cherry Lane. Halter Cottage is positioned in a stunning expansive, mainly indigenous garden. The beach is accessed directly from the top of the garden. It is from the top of the dune that you can enjoy the sunrise, sundowners or whale watching in season Pennington is 80 kms from Durban & 600kms from Johannesburg. This friendly coastal village is warm year round & home to Umdoni Forest boasting good birds fauna & flora

Hidden in a quiet corner of our working farm it overlooks a pristine section of the Wilge River, with the famous waterfall and Nelson's Kop mountain providing spectacular scenery. Guests will be able to enjoy absolute peace, uninterrupted views and walks in almost every direction. Please note that the property is remote and the last 200m of the access road will require a high clearance vehicle.

Our coffee bar is stocked with homemade rusks, coffee, tea, and sugar. There is also milk in the fridge. The lounge and patio area have beautiful views of the Falsebay Lake. The kitchen is fully equipped. Quoted rate is for up to 2 people, the unit can sleep 4. Any more than 2 people, then the extra fee of R250pppn applies.

The Goodland - Cottage One

Perfect for a relaxing couple’s mountain getaway or work remotely. The garden boasts 200 year old trees and abundant bird life. Enjoy panoramic mountain views from the veranda. Woodsong Cottage - Self Catering

The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming. The cottage is not suitable from small children. The cottage is not pet friendly.
