Bán house in Barabásszeg

The Bán family were nobles who determined the everyday life of Barabásszeg and Zala counties for centuries. The family left the house and the village and no one even remembered that its painted ceiling, spacious interior, old furniture, cellar and huge garden were the miracle itself. The deer are used to it, and the walnut, pear and plum trees are burial grounds for them. The renovation has preserved everything possible, we are also at peace with the deer and share the garden.

Upon thorough renovation in 2021, the house has been adapted to the modern way of living, yet it retained its original charm and soul.

Our guest house is located in Szattán, a small village in Őrség. The cottage has a sauna, a garden with a fireplace, and the village orchard is located directly below the house. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a hob, a small fridge, a coffee maker and a kettle. You'll find everything you need to cook and eat. The following fee is payable on site: In the village, the tourist tax rate is 400 HUF/person/night over 18 years. Sauna usage fee is 10000 HUF per heating.

For the athletics is the horse farm next door the perfect place to ride with fun through the beautiful landscapes of the vulcan-land and to be in harmony with the natur and the animals.

Kick back and relax in this calm, 800 m from the city center, at the gate of Őrség in Körmend. I offer a friendly apartment in the first, completely separate part of a family house (one room, kitchen and bathroom with shower). The garden is a common area, yet separate. The entrance is monitored by a security camera from the outside. Parking is free in front of the house, but it is also easily accessible by public transport. Nearby restaurants and sports facilities and playgrounds await you and your children in the adjacent park.
