Can't say enough good things about this place! The location is superb, the street and surroundings are beautiful, architecture of the building has loads of character and the interior of the apartment is simply charming. You have everything you need inside, including a space to work at with a laptop (which I did alot of). Access to the tram is literally at the doorstep, and you are so close to main train station and the Old Town. Mario was a super host and always responsive to questions. Just brilliant - thank you for everything! If you stay here and have time, grab a coffee and take the tram to Seilbahn Rigiblik, then take the Funicular up the hill. Enjoy a seat at the meadow with a great view of the mountains,lake and city. On your way back down the hill in the direction towards the Limmat river/Beckenhof Park, loose yourself in the historic architecture and old growth trees of the Oberstrass neighborhood.

We were looking for a place with a lake view. Vanessa's home exceeded our expectations, because we could look at the lake from our bed! A very peaceful place, with the bus stop only a few steps away. We can only recommend, and Vanessa is a wonderful host - a lovely welcome gift greeted us.

Me encanto la ubicación de este departamento. Se encuentra cerca de la estación del tren lo cual es fantástico y ademas a corta distancia hay dos supermercados y una farmacia. Puedes caminar hasta el lago o disfrutar de los restaurantes cercanos. Hay estacionamiento privado 24/7 lo cual es importantísimo en una ciudad como Zurich. Gracias Hans.

The apartment is better than the pictures: large kitchen, large bathroom and large rooms. The living room easily doubles up as a second bedroom, with no privacy issues. The sofa-bed is large and comfy (it’s firm, but I prefer it that way). The apartment is literally a 5-min walk to both the train station and the bus stop — you’ll be in downtown Zurich in around 15 minutes. Evgenij is a truly great host and a very nice person: always responsive, always precise, alway helpful, always kind. We had a minor glitch with the WiFi (which otherwise worked fine) on Dec. 31, and he simply didn’t rest until he had it fixed. Amazing value for money; amazing experience.

Es stimmte eigentlich alles! Einzig das Wetter machte uns einen Strich durch die Rechnung. Wir konnten den tollen Gartensitzplatz nicht so oft nutzen wie wir eigentlich wollten. Nochmals vielen herzlichen Dank an unsere Gastgeber.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Annabella war eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Wir können die Wohnung voll weiterempfehlen.

My son & I had a great stay! The apartment is tastefully converted from industrial use, was clean and very well equipped. The station platforms were 5 minutes walk away and there was a parking space right outside. The road outside is not a through street, so was not too busy, but there is a heavy vehicle maintenance facility opposite, which made a little noise on the one working day of our stay. There is a good sized fridge, but no freezer and also there is limited privacy due to the bathroom being part of the bathroom and the two rooms not being fully separated from each other. Overall would love to stay again!

Wir haben die drei Tage sehr genossen. Das Studio war bei Sonnenschein lichtdurchflutet und war noch schöner als auf den Fotos! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist nur ein Katzensprung bis an den See zu den „Gelati am See“ (sehr sehr leckeres Eis). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gerade gegenüber und wenn man nicht kochen mag, hat es verschiedene Restaurants vor dem Haus. Übers Wochenende konnten wir gerade in der weissen Zone vor dem Haus parken und für den Montag hat uns Chris eine Parkkarte (blaue Zone) organisiert- kommt viel billiger als das Parkhaus. Die Beschreibung und Kommunikation war super! Auf der anderen Strassenseite hat es gerade einen Spielplatz.

Stefan’s flat is the perfect base to explore lake Zurich and surroundings. It was a great first home in Switzerland for us throughout when we first arrived and had to get ourselves set up. They’ve done an excellent job at equipping the flat; it has everything you need an more and it is kept immaculate. The garden is a great place to unwind after a busy day. Highly recommended!

It was lovely place, pretty close to the town area with COOP departmental store next door. Very elegant designed rooms and nice balcony. Highly recommended for someone wanting to live in peace and witness swiss style of living.

My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! My wife and I have stayed in MANY AirBNBs over the years and we can legitimately say that David both as a host as well his property are absolutely 5+ stars! His communication, attention to detail (the property has its very own website!) and obvious concern for our welfare throughout our trip make this a no-brainer for booking. Plus, in our opinion the price for the property (especially in one of the most expensive cities in the world) was a great value. Nice flat. Very central and close to regular trams. Johannes and Ming were very communicative and let me check in early which I really appreciated. The flat was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Highly recommended.

A cosy home for travellers, the host is extremely thoughful by providing some necessities which are not given in other apartments. Very hospitable hosts. We enjoyed the stay.

Nice studio apartment!! Super clean with nice shower! Everything we needed. It was our 48th wedding anniversary & we could not have picked a better place. You walk out your back door to a breathe taking view. We enjoyed a romantic happy hour & made a nice charcuterie board to sit and take it all in. Gorgeous location. We loved the area with lots to do. Paul was very kind to greet us and show us the room. Highly recommend.

Außergewöhnliches Appartement in sehr ruhiger Lage. Absolute Empfehlung.

We felt right at home. We would really love to stay here again as the apartment was wonderful and the view outside is amazing. The only problem I felt is that at night there is very little lighting on the highway so to walk from station to the apartment is little bit risky post 9:30 p.m. But apart from this every aspect of our stay was exceptional. Thank you Silvia and Roland for your hospitality 🙏

Prije svega, odličan i vrlo susretljiv domaćin. Riječima se ne može opisati sve što ovaj smještaj nudi. Smještaj nudi puno više nego što je na slikama prikazano, te je opremljen apsolutno svime što čovjeku može zatrebati. Najbolji smještaj do sada u kojemu smo odsjeli. Sigurno ćemo se vratiti :)

Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen; insbesondere die ruhige Lage und die Natur haben wir sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Küche hat alles, was man zum Kochen braucht und vom Balkon, wo wir jeden Tag gegessen haben, hat man einen tollen Ausblick.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Ennenda bei den Banzers. Sie sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft.

We felt comfortable from the first minute with a welcoming host and an apartment with a really well thought out level of equipment - everything you need without clutter. Its in a very quiet and green area while still being very well linked with public transport to Lenzburg and Aarau. The bus stop and train station are both walkable and there are two small supermarket in walking distance that have all the necessities and more.
