The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. Ottenhain Castle (Manager)

Ottenhain Castle has a very special history. From 1886-1945 it was owned by the Count Chrome family and was used as a kindergarten and community office in GDR times. In the attic, the servants' quarters were housed, which have now been converted into comfortable apartments. It has been in our possession since 2023. The manager's apartment can accommodate up to 6 people on 90 m²: A spacious bedroom impresses with its historic bed.

The house is off a road about 300 meters from a modern outdoor swimming pool in a very quiet location. In the neighborhood there are bungalows - some of them are occupied all year round. All the technical aids that a normal household has are available (washing machine,, fridge, TV, bicycles, grill, etc.) and can be used free of charge. Internet access is available for 5 euros/stay. Please just ask.
