The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

The "Forsthaus Bielatal": The apartment is located in a sunny secluded location on the 1.5 hectare forest property of the Saxon royal Oberförsterei Reichstein. Cozy 2-story apartment (75 square meters) with children's room or 2nd bedroom, bedroom, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and living room. Living room and one bedroom is on the 3rd floor, the rest on the 2nd floor. A portable crib and highchair are provided free of charge if needed. The public playground is only 100 m away. In the garden there is a small sitting area. A grill is also provided. Wi-Fi is available. The apartment is completely closed and for your own use.

Welcome to Königstein, in the heart of Saxon Switzerland. Our apartment, with terrace, for two people is idyllic, quiet yet centrally located, overlooking the fortress of Königstein. Here you have an ideal starting point for hikes and exploration tours in the rock world of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains with its mountains to conquer and wild romantic valleys. The city center and public transport S-Bahn, bus and boat are about a 15-minute walk.

Cozy guest house for you

Our property is located in Friedrichswalde, a village in Saxon Switzerland. There is a very good connection to Highway 17. (Driving time to Dresden city center 15 - 20 minutes, Prague 80 minutes). Attractions such as the national park or the city of Pirna, as well as restaurants and a supermarket can be reached in a few minutes by car. The place is suitable for couples, friends, but also solo travelers are welcome.

Königstein Cottage

Small, cozy apartment with a large natural garden that you can use on the south side of the Königstein Fortress. The apartment can be used for up to 4 people. In the house there is a fireplace for the cool days and in the garden you can barbecue or simply enjoy the great starry sky at night. There are plenty of climbing and hiking opportunities in the area. Please note that there is no Wi-Fi in the cottage.

Shepherd's wagon tiny house - parking, garden, Wi-Fi

Our shepherd's wagon is located on our Kraxlerhof, in the middle of Saxon Switzerland overlooking the Ochelwände. With a lot of love, we have now completed our shepherd's wagon at the end of July 2022 for up to two people. All hiking destinations are easily accessible from our farm. We are happy to give you interesting excursion tips around the hiking region of Saxon Switzerland.

We live in Saxon Switzerland National Park on a 200-year-old farm in Bielatal. The farm is located at an altitude of 400 meters. From here you have a magnificent view of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. We lovingly converted the middle part of the old cowshed with the hayloft into the apartment. It is part of the large restored 4-sided farm.
