Ski-in, Ski-out #2 - Iwatake Apartments

AmandaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We loved our stay at Daniel’s apartment in Iwatake! Everything was as described & pictured. Pick up and drop off to station great - as was the food shop at the start. All staff friendly. The drying room was very good and something we didn’t even know was a MUST! The new Gondala was very nice and the view from the top of the mountain was stunning. The ski lift near the apt did not open when we were there even tho there was so much snow which was disappointing. Daniel always responded to questions friendly and quickly and I would recommend these apartments for skiing families. Beds and amenities were great - the washer and dryer also handy. The apts are quite a distance away from most things in Hakuba (good and bad)- it cost me $50aud round trip to go to the shops (10 mins) to get some good and there really is not many restaurants or food close by and the cheap taxi would not collect from the apts. Some other guests were noisy and could be heard through walls. Would love to come back

2-Minute from Matsumoto Sta,49㎡ Space,Max 5 Guests

AnandramRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay at Mikkun’s Airbnb. It was clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough for our family of three—could easily fit four. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the clear instructions for appliances and Wi-Fi were very helpful. There’s a large bed and a sofa-cum-bed our daughter used comfortably. The location is lively and walkable, with easy access to the station and plenty of places to eat nearby. A few things to note: the apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage was a bit challenging. Also, there's a karaoke bar on the 2nd floor, which can be a bit noisy at night—but earplugs are thoughtfully provided. Mikkun was a kind and responsive host. Highly recommended!

Hakuba Lodge OMUSUBI / ski in ski out location

AnnetteRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a great stay at Omusubi. Ryuichi, as everyone else mentioned, is such a helpful and kind host who greeted us personally. He gave us great recommendations and is always responsive when we had questions. The place is a walk away from Cortina and a few mins drive from Norikura, so convenient for skiing. The whole unit is clean and spacious, and the heating is great! The only slightly downside is that the soundproofing isn’t so great, so you’d hear sounds from the next room and outside if there is significant noise. Thankfully the area doesn’t seem to be noisy so we weren’t too affected. Overall it is still an excellent option for the Hakuba area!

Charming 2nd floor Apt 5 min walk from Nagano St.

AllisonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Decent price for a good sized, clean place, super close to the train station. Apartment is a little dark and the area doesn't seem to have much going on. We had to walk at least 20 mins or take the bus to get to attractions other than the temple.

Traditional Japanese house with world antiques/1-minute walk from Matsumoto Castle/12 people [Popotel one]

KarenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved this Airbnb. It was definitely a favorite. It is actually set up as a super cool hostel, but our family of four had the place to ourselves. It is very big with multiple rooms and sleeping options, including one with bunk beds that my kids enjoyed. There is also a an area for kids that had big rolling toys that the kids also enjoyed. Everything is labeled clearly and anything that you might need is provided, including bikes! The host is also kind and responsive. I hope that you get the chance to stay here. It is definitely highly recommended!

Japanese style chalet in KitaKaruizawa

LiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed here for three nights, the house is much better than the photos, my baby was happy as soon as he entered the door, walked around and played, the yard is large, my baby likes to pick small fruits in the yard and explore the small garden. The host is very nice, there is a local food and entertainment guide she prepared, we went to a few attractions, shops and hot springs she recommended, all very good. She also prepared a lot of towels for us, and we had enough clean towels to go to the hot springs every day. At the same time, the Host also prepared five beers and local mineral water for us, and wrote us a handwritten note, which was very thoughtful. The experience of staying here was so great that I wanted to buy a house here as a vacation home.I highly recommend everyone to stay at this B&B and experience it.

I stayed overnight. The check-in time was delayed due to high-speed traffic congestion and sightseeing, but they responded immediately when I contacted them and handled it flexibly. It was nice that the facility was very clean. We bought groceries at Tsuruya and a nearby butcher shop and cooked for ourselves. It was very good, and Tonbo-no-Yu was also close. I'd love to stay again when I travel to Karuizawa.Thank you very much.

Penke Panke Lodge - Studio & Breakfast + Deck

DaxtonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at Penke Panke Lodge was lovely. The room was beautiful, especially the bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. We made use of the kitchen during our stay and had everything we needed to cook our meals. The staff were very friendly, and Justin, the host, was very nice and accommodating. They had bikes on the property that were free to use, and we took advantage of that by using them for a nice bike ride around Hakuba. The location was great and within close proximity to the town. Overall, we loved our stay at Penke Panke and would definitely stay again on our next visit to Hakuba!

Hakuba resort cottage Villa Monochorome

WilliamRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.
A panoramic view captures a snow-covered landscape with distant mountains. A large building with a red-roofed design is seen nestled among trees, while the foreground highlights a blanket of fresh snow, reflecting the clear blue sky scattered with clouds.
