We renovated the 2 story earthenware built in the Edo period and made it a guesthouse. It is not spacious, but there is a kitchen with an IH cooking heater on the ground floor while leaving an earthenware wall or a thick beam.Air conditioner and oil heater are also equipped for a comfortable stay. You can experience the sound insulation unique to the earthen warehouse, the coolness of summer, and the warmth of winter. With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.
