WELCOME Now open for 2026 and looking forward to greeting guests both new and old. Built under the guidance of a wheelchair using friend we have provided most, but not all, of the facilities to suit less mobile visitors, although everyone is more than welcome to stay with us. It is rustic themed and located around 5 mls (8km) from the A1 and 3 (5km) from the M62 motorway, with good road/rail and bus links. All our guests have the full private use of the detached annexe during their stay.

A town centre historic building with the best of the modern world. Park up privately & enter the bright spacious house. A unique kitchen with all modern amenities. Dining room with a beautiful 17th century dining table leads to a living room with media wall & water vapour fire. The patio garden with BBQ firepit, water feature & dart board. Upstairs four stylish bedrooms each with TV's and projectors. Two showers, a bath and two toilets help allow you move through your Yorkshire stay with ease.

A lovingly restored, 15th century barn in the pretty village of Brayton, 1.5 miles south of Selby. Private and self-contained, the barn offers luxurious, modern accommodation with a large outside space and impressive views of the nearby medieval church. Easy access to the M1, A1, M62 and A19 with good transport links to major locations such as York (14 miles), Leeds (24 miles) and other destinations make it a relaxing and ideal base to unwind and explore the beautiful Yorkshire surroundings.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Wren's Nest is a lovingly converted 18th -century barn with a charming private garden and free on-site parking, including secure bike storage. The village has two pubs both serving tasty home cooked food and real ales.

Alder Cottage is a self contained annex with off street parking with space for one (or two) cars. Set in a peaceful, rural location 100meters from a small nature reserve. Whether you need a base for a weekend or short break. This location offers many options for exploring the local area either by walking or cycling. SELBY is 5 miles and York 15 miles away. The annex is a 5minute walk from the village of Hambleton where there are two local pubs one of which has an excellent all day menu.

The Old Maple Lodge is a beautiful and stylish annex of an oak-framed house, located in the charming village of Riccall, 8 miles south of York. Overlooking the original pond of the old manor house, The Old Maple Lodge offers guests a luxury experience, complete with a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom and kitchen facilities. Enjoy staying at our charming Georgian cottage in leafy Roundhay, a 10 minute car ride from the centre of Leeds. There are original features, a wood burning stove, Aga and is within walking distance of Roundhay Park, cafes, bars and restaurants. There will be tea and coffee making facilities, milk in the fridge and fresh linen and towels for you! We hope you find it comfortable, stylish and well equipped! We consider longer lets too!

Beautiful views yet close to village life! Our newly renovated first floor 1 bedroom flat is situated next to our family home with on site parking for one vehicle. Just off the main road with all the amenities of a large village on the doorstep, a stones throw from Ackworth Quaker school, and easily accessible to lots of local sights including Nostell Priory, Yorkshire Wildlife and Yorkshire Sculpture Parks.
