This quaint farmhouse is located just off of MO Hwy 72 on a 62 acre farm nestled against the Castor River. Here you and your companion(s) can experience the quiet and relaxing life on a farm with plenty of adventure awaiting just around the bend. Sit and enjoy a sip of coffee or tea on the front porch while watching the cattle graze the pasture across the road next to a rustic white barn or venture about 3 miles to the largest privately owned lake in Madison County. Hand Built Log Cabin

This cabin was completed in 1940 by previous owner's grandmother with only the help of her horses. The wood was cut from the property. Originally it had no electric or plumbing, we updated it more in 2021 keeping as much original as possible. Rustic cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower only, washer and dryer, full eat in kitchen and living room. On site you can relax watching horses, mini horses, goats, chickens & ducks as well as wild life. You can feed and pet the 🐐 goats.

St Francis River: The Blue Yurt and Hot Tub

Let your adventure begin inside the tranquil experience of this 20 ft yurt. Don't let the space fool you, the uniquely curved walls give ample space for a romantic getaway or a relaxing time with friends. The clear dome top provides a magical viewing experience from the queen size bed. The yurt is nestled in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. The expansive, romantically lighted, wrap-around deck provides a panoramic view of the St. Francis River where you can immerse yourself in the hot tub.

FUNKS INN-no extra guest fees or cleaning fee

This house was built in 1870, it is a stone structure and was used as a family farm home. It has been remodeled for its use today. It is historically correct, which includes antiques of the time. Post Civil War era, furniture including the beds of this period. Another interesting aspect, is that the floors are all original. Mattresses, blankets pillows, bedding and towels are all new. The wine cellar that we have added, made on location. I always leave some out for guests. No fee.
