This Airbnb is probably one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The friends with me were extremely impressed with my choice for this home. It’s spacious, and the view can’t be beat! The only thing I’ll mention is the house creeks at night with the wind, the first night it really threw us off but once we figured out what it was we felt much better. But overall, this space is a 10/10! Highly recommend.

We came to the area for river rafting with extended family and were overall quite satisfied. There was plenty of space, the pool was a hit, and we were treated to an evening lightening storm, which we watched through the big windows. The decor was a mix of high end, out of date, and quirky.

We had a large family group attending a wedding in Hood River and Bill and Michelle's place was perfect. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and at the same time had a comfortable place to congregate. The kitchen was stocked with every type of cookware you could possibly want! And it was really nice to arrive and have a bottle of wine waiting along with cheese and crackers and food for breakfast, too. We loved the large table where we could all easily fit for a family meal. We had perfect weather which meant we got to use the pool and jacuzzi every day we were there - a real treat! The location of the house is quite private and the view of the river is amazing. We especially loved sitting out on the deck to watch the kite surfers (bring binoculars for better viewing!) The streets around the house were quiet which meant we could go out walking and not worry about heavy traffic. All in all, a perfect place for a large group! Highly recommend!

This house is stunning and it was so clean!! The view from the back deck was amazing. Monte was very flexible with my check in time and clear with all instructions ! Was such a nice and easy stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Everything worked fine, it was very clean. An interesting house in a very small town on the river. You could watch the para-sailers on the Columbia river. Not from the house, but it was in a beautiful area. It was set up for dogs, which we appreciated because we brought our dog, Bowen. Big beautiful fenced yard. Our dog spent a lot of time back there. Beautiful plants too, lots of colorful perennials, if a dog ran over it, it would be ok. We knew that there were limited store and restaurant around so we brought our own food. Worked fine. We enjoyed the house and the small town and would come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The pictures do not do it justice. The peaceful mountain views, luxurious beds, fully stocked kitchen, proximity to town, and fully fenced yard for pups; you can't go wrong booking a stay! Would highly recommend!

This is an outstanding property! Perched up above the Columbia River with absolutely stunning views of Hood River, mountains, river, you name it, even on a cloudy day, it was amazing! The space is perfect for a large family or multiple families, with plenty of sleep space and privacy on different floors. It was simply perfect for our family race team, in the area for an event.

Even though it was shared with two other units, we still had our own space and it was quiet and relaxing! The place was SPOTLESS and we felt very safe staying there! Would MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND to anyone needing a place to stay in The Dalles!

We have had the pleasure of staying at many amazing AirBNBs in the past however we cannot think of a more tranquil and uplifting and gorgeous property than this beautiful home. Just the simple arrival shock and wow factor with Mt Hood framed above the treeline and then opening the massive front sliders and feeling like stepping out of an old stressful life and into a new persona. And yes I admit that sounds cheesy but do yourself a favor and just go experience it for yourself and yes make sure to bring plenty provisions so that u do not have to go back into town for a couple days. And if you need to restock then it’s a lovely drive past rural farms and takes about 25 minute to White Salmon and all the amenities. And when you are ready to explore the region then go hike the Labyrinth Trail and afterwards drive to Maryhill Winery on a sunny spring day and now you know why folks love the Gorge. Just go there now. Or don’t so that we can go back ASAP to be sure.

Great spot with really nice views that was a cozy place to rest between activities. Nice kitchen with a deck, grill and hot tub made it easy to hang around and relax. The local town of Hood River was a 10-minute drive with plenty of shops and restaurants, and the drive to downtown Portland is only about an hour. Would definitely recommend for a vacation spot away from the city but still close enough to find something fun to do.

Our friends were getting married at a vineyard in Underwood and this was the perfect home base for the weekend! We enjoyed the fire pit, the views, lounging in the living room, cooking meals together, and the super comfy beds!

We had a wonderful experience at this sweet place. Everything was comfortable and clean. This hostess thinks of everything, and I do mean everything! We were delighted to have a well equipped kitchen with fresh eggs waiting for us and a goodie basket with lots of fun choices. We had a great experience at Eric’s townhouse! The location was perfect as it was so easy to walk into the main shopping / restaurant district in downtown Hood River. Eric was very responsive as well. Would stay here again for sure!

My friends and I needed a quiet, serene and spacious place to enjoy a women’s retreat. Yu Chin’s place was exactly what we needed for our getaway. Super easy to drive into White Salmon and Hood River. I appreciated that the home was super clean!

There are airbnb experiences that while sweet and serviceable at the time, fade quickly. Misty's Wildwood is not one of those experiences. This is a vacation home that you won't soon forget. Set amongst the trees, this home has everything to make a group of 8 over the top comfortable. This is an ideal destination for a family reunion or intimate gathering with good friends. Misty goes above and beyond in her generosity to make this both a comfortable and memorable experience. You can tell this is a beloved home by the way it is cared for. We could have stayed a week and not tired of the place. Just five minutes from White Salmon and ten minutes from Hood River, this is Gorge vacationing at its best. Take a walk in the woods from the back door or explore all the beautiful nooks and crannies inside and outside of this GORGE-ous home. Thank you Misty--you are an A+++ host.

Loved the vibe in and around Bingen, particularly the walks around White Salmon, suggested in the local info folder provided in the house. Enjoyed our sauna and spa session at The Society, just across the road, plus a cocktail in the lobby there. They have a happy hour 4-6 pm. The trains were noisy, as described, but we got used to it very quickly and didn’t need the earplugs and white noise machines provided in the bedrooms. Very comfortable bed, good quality bed linen and efficient air conditioning. The views across the town and river were great, but the balcony was a little narrow to sit on comfortably for long periods. We didn’t use the downstairs at all so can’t comment on that. The outside space could do with a bit of TLC but we didn’t spend any time in the garden, preferring to stroll around the neighbourhood.
