Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Klickitat County

What gave this place value was the convenience of having my boat parked right in front of our door. I could clean up the boat and get it ready for the next days fishery. I could walk across the street to Bob’s Texas steakhouse for very reasonably priced food and drinks. Located directly behind the Gorge outfitters store, I was able to get what I need every morning and off to the fishery before most or even getting out of bed. Wendy was a great host and I was there if we needed her.

My friends and I had a great stay at Kevin’s house - this was our second stay there. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and the covered patio was a fantastic place for a post-ride happy hour. We loved being able to walk up the street to restaurants and coffee shops, too.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Everything worked fine, it was very clean. An interesting house in a very small town on the river. You could watch the para-sailers on the Columbia river. Not from the house, but it was in a beautiful area. It was set up for dogs, which we appreciated because we brought our dog, Bowen. Big beautiful fenced yard. Our dog spent a lot of time back there. Beautiful plants too, lots of colorful perennials, if a dog ran over it, it would be ok. We knew that there were limited store and restaurant around so we brought our own food. Worked fine. We enjoyed the house and the small town and would come back!

The home was extremely comfortable, well organized and clean. Our family had a great time in the house - the kids wished we spent more time there to utilize the deck, basketball court, and hot tub. The layout works great with a large open room downstairs with a deck for coffee / happy hour. We were greeted by three deer right off the patio each morning that we were there. Easy to utilize the tv / speakers. The host communicated clearly, and proactively and the local hike he recommended was the highlight.

Fantastic, massive home that could easily accommodate more than the 5 guests we had. Decent view of Mt Adam’s from the deck with a fire pit, which fit our UAP viewing party of a trip. Kitchen is very functional which is perfect given the lack of food options nearby (if staying mid week you have NO food options within 30 miles so plan accordingly). Property is beautiful and you can hear the water from the creek in nearly every room in the house; very peaceful. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and easy to relax in. WiFi was great. Parking is no problem on the property.

Great spot with really nice views that was a cozy place to rest between activities. Nice kitchen with a deck, grill and hot tub made it easy to hang around and relax. The local town of Hood River was a 10-minute drive with plenty of shops and restaurants, and the drive to downtown Portland is only about an hour. Would definitely recommend for a vacation spot away from the city but still close enough to find something fun to do.

We rented both of Jenell’s places, the main house and the lodge. Both of the places are very comfortable to stay. It truly feels like a home away from home. It’s got everything — kitchen supplies, toys for the kids, and even a massage chair! The house is clean and new, and the yard is beautifully maintained.”

This home was very cozy and welcoming, the perfect place to relax as a family. We loved the style and comfort and had a great time playing board games around the big kitchen table. We stayed here with our pup and he enjoyed the yard and had no problems with the neighbor or their chickens.

Easy, convenient and practical. Extremely responsive hosts and accommodations- farther out than expected but I prefer that to busy in-city; Miss Oreo cookie cat was a great host too. great bathroom heater, clean, equipped for coffee and other light food and beverage. I would come again

Linda, has put a lot of time, effort and care into her property. We could tell she is very proud of her place and it shows. The back patio was really what attracted me to her rental. She provides all the little thoughtful things from blankets, all the necessary items to BBQ. It was exactly what I had hoped for and more...

Had a wonderful (too quick!) stay - came up to Klickitat for a random night, booked last-minute, and honestly would love to come back and stay for longer. Linda was incredibly responsive and her guidance was first rate - from directions to “good things to know” to area recommendations, and the setting is absolutely stunning. We REALLY enjoyed our morning coffee on the glorious deck!! Overall a lovely experience in a VERY special place, and added bonus that our dogs could come, too. Of the many amenities in the area, we can personally attest to the proximity to biking and wine.

Amazing place off the beaten path. Beautiful canyon roads to reach this hidden peaceful retreat. Definitely needed the recharge just sitting my the river relaxing. Guy was a great host and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome!

this is a GREAT location on the river...we appreciated all the seating and citronella products...the patio area was LOVELY...

We had a wonderful stay with Andrea and David! Davis was a very welcoming and helpful host. He and his children even brought out toys for my son to play with! (I'm sure playing on the patio and lawn were my son's favorite things about the trip!) Everything was spotlessly clean, but we also felt comfortable there with our toddler. Gorgeous view, beautiful property, location can't be beat! We'd love to stay here again.

Thanks Chrissy and Brock for sharing your cozy cabin with us! The location was charming and easy to find. The view of Mt Adams from your property was stunning. The cabin was comfy and warm. We made good use of the kitchen offerings. We opted to sleep downstairs on the murphy bed which was surprisingly comfortable. We have already told others of what a nice rental it was. We went to the Conboy Nature Preserve. We needed a serene hike away from road noise. The prairie, wild flowers and bird songs were wonderful. The natural bridges were also interesting. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trails. The pizza place on site was delicious. (Great Hawaiian Pizza). Again, thank you!

The view of Mt. Adams from the cabins front window was amazing! Was able to do a bit of walking, and the people we met were very friendly. Thank you.

This is such an awesome cabin. Right by a coffee shop and a market made it a great place to stay. Everything was clean and Brian and Summer responded quickly with any questions I have. 5/5 and would recommend to anyone to stay here

A peaceful spot to get away from urban life for a bit. The dogs loved roaming around the property. The neighbor dogs barked some but not too badly. Loved walking around the little trail encircling the property line.

Liberty was so accommodating to our needs. We had a baby a long for a family wedding and she made sure we had access to all of the baby things she had at her place. We loved the front TV room that had lots of room for kids to play and to have 2 separate areas to be in for people to enjoy. The only challenge we had was no microwave, but made do as best we can with the toaster oven. I would definitely recommend this VRBO for location, cleanliness, ease of access and a wonderful host.

We loved staying here with our two little pups. It was the cleanest Airbnb we've ever stayed in. It had everything we needed: comfy bed, a feeling of privacy, beautiful views of trees and snow, a great pizza restaurant steps away. The extra touch of a little Christmas tree was fun. We're looking forward to returning in the summer.

Cute little campground! Mostly well spaced and still felt private. So many thoughtful touches, from the firewood to the privacy curtain.

We absolutely loved staying at this private Cabin! It was absolutely stunning and not just the actual cabin but the nature that you can see from every corner of the house. We celebrated our anniversary here and just found this to be the perfect spot. So much beautiful scenery around and lots of outdoorsy things to do around. The host did such an amazing job at helping us find places we can enjoy around and spots we can visit. The place was stocked with evening and anything you would need to have the most perfect time. I cannot wait to be back! Oh annnnd! They have well water!! That was a wonderful touch.
