What gave this place value was the convenience of having my boat parked right in front of our door. I could clean up the boat and get it ready for the next days fishery. I could walk across the street to Bob’s Texas steakhouse for very reasonably priced food and drinks. Located directly behind the Gorge outfitters store, I was able to get what I need every morning and off to the fishery before most or even getting out of bed. Wendy was a great host and I was there if we needed her.

My friends and I had a great stay at Kevin’s house - this was our second stay there. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and the covered patio was a fantastic place for a post-ride happy hour. We loved being able to walk up the street to restaurants and coffee shops, too.

In the world of Airbnb, my experience of late is a lot of listings overpromise by using photos that exaggerate and/or are dated by years. I’ve had several in the last year that had me anticipating luxury and delivered something far from. Bruce’s place is fair and accurate. The location, relative to Hood River is awesome! His photos and descriptions are accurate. It’s a bit different in that he doesn’t try to hide that you’re staying in a house someone generally lives in, but again, all that shows up honestly in his listing. The photos are also honest. I’d stay there again.

Wow!!!! This place is amazing, from the view to the amenities to all the things available close by this has been one of the best experiences we have had staying in an AirB&B period! The photos online are accurate but don't do justice to how comfortable and well equipped the home is! Communication with Kurt and Summyr was great and they were quick to respond to any questions that we had. We can't say enough about how great our overall stay was and highly recommend it if you are looking for a great place to stay and with awesome views!!!

The house was great, well kept, safe, and clean. The traffic from I84 was a little noisy but the trains both east and west and north and south were often and noisy. The location was great to easily get to hiking and fishing spots. The host was great!

This home was very cozy and welcoming, the perfect place to relax as a family. We loved the style and comfort and had a great time playing board games around the big kitchen table. We stayed here with our pup and he enjoyed the yard and had no problems with the neighbor or their chickens.

My stay at Staci’s home was great. I was down there for work and it was so nice coming home to a warm cozy place where I could enjoy the rest of the night with my pups.

We had a large family group attending a wedding in Hood River and Bill and Michelle's place was perfect. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and at the same time had a comfortable place to congregate. The kitchen was stocked with every type of cookware you could possibly want! And it was really nice to arrive and have a bottle of wine waiting along with cheese and crackers and food for breakfast, too. We loved the large table where we could all easily fit for a family meal. We had perfect weather which meant we got to use the pool and jacuzzi every day we were there - a real treat! The location of the house is quite private and the view of the river is amazing. We especially loved sitting out on the deck to watch the kite surfers (bring binoculars for better viewing!) The streets around the house were quiet which meant we could go out walking and not worry about heavy traffic. All in all, a perfect place for a large group! Highly recommend!

Evan was super friendly and very responsive. He clearly prioritized our experience. The location was perfect for our Memorial Day weekend activities on the water, and the hot shower was heavenly. The amazing water pressure has ruined me for other showers 😂

This Airbnb is probably one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The friends with me were extremely impressed with my choice for this home. It’s spacious, and the view can’t be beat! The only thing I’ll mention is the house creeks at night with the wind, the first night it really threw us off but once we figured out what it was we felt much better. But overall, this space is a 10/10! Highly recommend.

This house is stunning and it was so clean!! The view from the back deck was amazing. Monte was very flexible with my check in time and clear with all instructions ! Was such a nice and easy stay.

The view of Mt. Adams from the cabins front window was amazing! Was able to do a bit of walking, and the people we met were very friendly. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The pictures do not do it justice. The peaceful mountain views, luxurious beds, fully stocked kitchen, proximity to town, and fully fenced yard for pups; you can't go wrong booking a stay! Would highly recommend!

Beautiful location! The House had everything we needed and more. lots of little extras like robes, lotion, slippers, ice... We also ran into the owner while checking in and were gifted 3 bottles of the wineries wine which added even more to my birthday celebration. Thanks so much. We all had an amazing time!

We have had the pleasure of staying at many amazing AirBNBs in the past however we cannot think of a more tranquil and uplifting and gorgeous property than this beautiful home. Just the simple arrival shock and wow factor with Mt Hood framed above the treeline and then opening the massive front sliders and feeling like stepping out of an old stressful life and into a new persona. And yes I admit that sounds cheesy but do yourself a favor and just go experience it for yourself and yes make sure to bring plenty provisions so that u do not have to go back into town for a couple days. And if you need to restock then it’s a lovely drive past rural farms and takes about 25 minute to White Salmon and all the amenities. And when you are ready to explore the region then go hike the Labyrinth Trail and afterwards drive to Maryhill Winery on a sunny spring day and now you know why folks love the Gorge. Just go there now. Or don’t so that we can go back ASAP to be sure.

Beautiful location and house. The furnishings are very nice, high quality items - much nicer than what I've seen in the typical AirBnB. The bed was super comfy and the layout of the house was great for watching TV or reading and admiring the stunning view of Mt. Hood from the huge picture windows. Appreciated the outdoor fenced area for the dogs, and the lack of extra fees for them as well.

Amy was a wonderful host. The B&b bedroom space was spacious. The first floor had a wood burning stove that worked effectively. The dining table sat four people comfortably. The couch was spacious. There was no tv provided which we didn't need. The bathroom was upstairs off the bedroom. It might be a challenge for anyone who finds stairs challenging. There is a nice patio off of the first floor and a deck off the bedroom. The weather was wet and chilly so it wasn't conducive to sitting outside. I would return if I returned to the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Michael’s house. There was plenty of room for all of us and we played pickle ball and frisbee golf! The deck has a great view of the river and we were lucky enough to have a visit or two from Michael’s adorable pups. This home is a great place to stay when you visit the Hood River area.
