This is a family home. You can feel the memories and laughter from the years. It is adorable and cozy and Laura is so kind. I loved the hammock out front. A full kitchen available. Walkable to restaurants and the water.

Four of us, two couples, spent a very enjoyable week at Roula's stone cottage. A special and stunning location and suspect a rare opportunity to spend time in a traditional style house in a rural cretan mountain village. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. May be better suited to a family stay as the downstairs room has no separate access to bathroom. We enjoyed the peaceful location immensely- great to getup and have breakfast outside with the fresh air and distant sound of goat bells. We travelled to Chania or the beaches along the coast every day and certainly didn't find the village too remote to do so. Nearby Tavernas and gorge walk are a must. Roula, along with her mother, were always quick, helpful and generous when questions were asked and supplied us with eggs and oranges and some home cooked food. Surely one of the best hosts I've experienced on airbnb. Would gladly return.

We had a wonderful time in the villa. Manolis was always very helpful and provided us support whenever we needed. I would absolutly recommend the villa. Especially the view is outstanding

Very nice old house in a quiet area. Great terraces. Excellent hosting. Perfect location if you are planning to explore nearby beaches.

We loved our time at this place. We spent 6 nights there. We had asked the host for restaurant recommendations to celebrate my birthday, the suggestions were super relevant, she even left me pastries in the fridge, to eat on my birthday, with some small gifts, Super nice touch on her part. The accommodation smelled good on arrival, everything was immaculate. I recommend it. Great location, close to several mini markets and restaurants, pastry shop/coffee shop.

The tastefully restored and decorated accommodation is located in the middle of the olive trees next to other houses in the village. The accommodation is spacious with on each side of the house, a very nice terrace. Neighbors are lovely. We were greeted by many cats, as in all of Crete. Communication with Nancy or Kallia was very responsive. We will definitely return to this house for calm, mountain views and proximity to quality shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed staying at Giannis apartment! It’s in a great position if you want to visit Falassarna, Balos, Elafonissi. The house is perfect for 4, it’s near to the small center of Kissamos. Nearby to a bakery, the supermarket and some small shops. Giannis is really friendly and very helpful. We recommend it.

Maria is a fantastic host. She met my husband and me at the bus stop and showed us around the apartment and neighborhood, giving us recommendations for dining and things to do. Her apartment is located in the heart of Old Town just steps away from the waterfront, great restaurants (we especially loved Tamam), and shopping. She stocked the apartment with everything we'd need for our visit, including beach towels, breakfast items, candy, guidebooks, and more. The apartment itself is cozy and comfortable in a charming building. Despite a decent amount of foot traffic nearby, it was quiet at night. We had the best sleep of our 10-day trip to Greece during our three-night stay. I can't recommend Maria's place enough for a visit to Chania!

We had a very warm welcome in an ultra clean apartment. Everything and more was provided. Loved our stay and the area! Thank you for having us, we would love to come back!

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by them waiting for us in front of the entrance. They helped us with our luggage and in addition, she made us a delicious chocolate cake! Super people, always available, like family members or super caring neighbors! In addition, 4 fantastic kittens (mother with her 3 kittens), chickens, vegetable garden and fresh fruit that they offered us. A week flew by, with bright eyes for how well we are both with them and with the kittens, a 🥹 very comfortable place to go to the most beautiful beaches in the west! If we ever come back, we already know where to stay! Perfect house, clean, with everything you need if not more. The terrace on which to eat meals with a beautiful view of nature and the sea is also perfect!!

We stayed there from June 1 to 7. Apartment faithful to the photos (a little plus with the two terraces (one partly shaded) which allows us to be in the sun or shade at any time of day), private parking and access to the beach on foot (15 meters). Close to the city center on foot (shops, restaurants, bars, pedestrian center, etc.) and well located for visiting western Crete. The host who welcomed us was very nice (took the time to advise us on the area and its visits), available and responsive (we asked for an extra set of sheets that were in front of our door during the day) thank you for the welcome and I recommend this apartment

When we arrived my partner said what have you booked. HOWEVER from that point on the accommodation was superb, hoist views amenities out of this world. We found a bar Naya bar ^ restaurant which is a 3 minute walk right of the apartment. The food and hospitality was 100%.We did eat else where but it didn't compare. Food and drinks was reasonably priced and out of this world. This location for this apartment is spot on for the town of Kissimos. (20 mins walk tops) On our trip we did the top main beaches which are apartment is sentral. If you want to be off the grid or a quiet location for your family this is the place. Our hoist accommodated to our every needs like taking sun loungers on the beach. I will definitely recommend these apartments. I had the top terrace wow waking up to sea front views was unbelievable. To sum these apartments is a hidden gem.Cleaned every couple of days.Happy memories from the UK 🇬🇧 thank you x

Can’t thank Theo amd Parthenia enough for all their help recommendations and flexibility . The apartment is very well equipped , really felt at home . Incredible views , despite being above all the restaurants , the rooms are well sound proofed and there was no noise at all .. Will definitely be back to visit again .. had a wonderful stay and holiday ❤️

This is more than house. It is a nest. You've got everything, kitchen is great, netflix, air-conditioning, you name it. The place è is quite and you can sleep as a baby. You've got your own parking too! The most powerful thing in the house is the hosts Paula. It was like meeting a family member that you didn't see for years. She was so caring, so kind, lovely. It is hard to describe. Thanks you!

Our host was very careful for details, kitchen had all necessary stuff, fridge, etc. everything was clean. Host gift us welcoming gifts and that was lovely ❤️. Nice location, beach is close and you can go to supermarket in 10min on bus. And 25 min to Chania, bus stop is near. Living there was a pleasure.

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

It was super nice here. We were warmly welcomed and communication went smoothly. The place is as pictured. You're a bit up the mountain, which is super nice because it's much quieter there. The city and the beach are within walking distance. We were very satisfied.

If you love a vacation off the beaten track, away from the crowds of tourist resorts... this is your place. The house is located in a small village attached to the rock with stunning views of the Rokka gorge. The terrace you'll share with other guests is perfect for enjoying breakfast or an aperitif. Be aware that there are cats that come looking for food... for those with allergies... Marianna provided us with food for the first night and was always responsive to any questions or problems. Rokka is the ideal place to explore the beaches of the northwest of the island and Chania. The southwest beaches are at least an hour's drive away. We're taking beautiful memories with us Thank you.

The place was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed. It's very close to the beach and there are many shops nearby. The host Alkis was very polite and always answers within minutes if we needed anything. He went out of his way to help us when we needed a hand. Not to mention that he offered us a drive to the bus station.

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

We had a great time at Nikos' place. The view is incredible, you want to spend your days on the balcony! The bedding is comfortable, and there is everything available for a very nice stay. Nikos was very welcoming and discreet, he recommended a place to park easily and reach the center of Chania on foot, which was very convenient! In short, we really enjoyed our vacation at this place and recommend it 100%. Thank you Nikos!
