Doris and Jürgen are perfect hosts! In addition to a warm, uncomplicated welcome, we were welcomed with a well-stocked fridge and wonderful suggestions for our vacation in the pleasantly bright, tastefully furnished and excellently equipped apartment. What a joy to be smiled at from every window of the Black Forest. With the nearby public transport, we were able to relax to the Nordic Center Notschrei for winter sports, enjoy fantastic huts and alpine panorama as well as explore the university town of Freiburg. During our stay we experienced Carnival with traditional jesters in classic but also modern costumes, who very successfully banished the winter. Culinary, I was delighted by the small weekly market, a few steps away, the nice Alsatian stands with excellent cheese and much more. It was an all-round successful vacation, thank you very much dear Doris & Jürgen!

The apartment was as described and everything was sparkling clean. I had no contact with the landlord himself, it was a lady from the house who took care of it - and would have been approachable at any time - if I had needed her. The furniture is all not new - the value for money is great. I am in the area more often - and will definitely come back. I especially liked that there were so many books. Enneagram, yoga, Tintin in French and Spanish learning thrillers - everything is there. There were even great crystals - I felt very comfortable.

Tanja, Stefan and their kids are amazing hosts. This is my first time staying in a home with a German family and they were super nice to us. Check-in was very smooth. The locker box with key is easy to locate (right next to the door). Moreover, Stefan was at home to receive us. He gave us a quick tour of the apartment and also issued us Kronos cards (that give you free public transportation in Schwarzwald). The views from the apartment are breathtaking - you can see mountains and meadows in every direction. It is also well-stocked - bathroom has lot of towels, soap, shampoo, moisturizer, toothpaste, face wash and what not. Kitchen not only has enough crockery but also basic groceries (rice , tea, coffee, instant past, noodles). Bedrooms have more than enough pillows and bedsheets. It is obvious that Tanja has taken a lot of pain to ensure the guests have everything they need. Stefan also offered to drive us to Freiburg if we missed our connecting train. Thank you Tanja & Stefan
