In the castle district

In the immediate vicinity of Schmieheim Castle, you can enjoy the tranquility and nature. In about 20 minutes you are at Europa-Park. Right outside the front door are a beautiful playground and large meadows. With a few steps you are in the forest or in the vineyards and can enjoy the view up to the Vosges Mountains from there. We have placed great importance on using only high-quality natural materials. You are surrounded by wood, clay and natural colors. An all-round healthy indoor climate.

Here you will find a place for people who appreciate the special – tranquility, space and natural beauty. Surrounded by meadows and forests, an open view opens up over the Black Forest heights – a panorama that touches. Take the whole family with you to this cozy appartement with lots of space. Europapark and Rulantica are around the corner (5 km). Freiburg, Black Forest and Strasbourg provide even more variety. Relaxation, fun, entertainment and sightseeing are guaranteed! The apartment is only for rent to tourists (at least one of them shoul be an adult). Workers and business travelers would like to look for other accommodation. BBQ is not possible due to fire security!

Cozy Home

This small house, with a magnificent view stretching all the way to the Vosges Mountains in France, is located on the outskirts of Herbolzheim in the foothills of the Black Forest. Europa-Park and Rulantica are just 10 minutes away. The Black Forest, Freiburg, Strasbourg, and many more are great destinations from here. A tourist tax will be levied in Herbolzheim starting January 1, 2026. Guests will receive a Konus card upon request.
