Private Ballard Backyard Cottage with Natural Light

Escape the bustle of the city and relax in a cozy backyard sanctuary. Sample local craft beer in an Adirondack chair in the garden. Watch a widescreen TV from the bed and make coffee in the morning. This adorable cottage comes complete with queen bed, hardwood flooring, kitchenette with Farmhouse sink, kitchen island, fridge freezer, Kuerig coffee maker, toaster, slow cooker, and induction hot plate. With a 50 gallon water heater there will be enough hot water for all your needs. The high end bathroom is completed with a Kohler sink, toilet and hardware. There is also a closet to hang and store clothes and bags. The cottage is heated via high efficiency electric infra red heaters mounted on the ceiling. There is also a whole house ventilation system to keep the air fresh throughout the year (the switch to turn hi/low or on/off is inside the closet). Cable TV, wifi and a DVD player are also available. Amazon and Netflix are included on the smart TV for your use with your own passwords. Free parking is available on the street in front of the Cottage/Main house. The Cottage is a short walk via a gravel pathway to the right of the main house towards the back of the property. Guests are welcome to use the patio seating area outside the Cottage, which includes Adirondack chairs, picnic table, and a Weber grill. We welcome contact via email, text or cell at anytime before or during your stay to answer any questions you may have. During your stay, we like to leave the personal interaction guest dependent. We value your privacy and would love to give you a friendly welcome greeting if we pass. However, we are always available and more than happy to chat, just let us know. The Seattle neighborhood of Ballard has many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a cinema, bakeries, and quirky stores. The Sunday market is a must. Golden Gardens Beach, the Ballard Locks, and the Nordic Heritage Museum are all close by. The Cottage is around a 20 min drive to Downtown Seattle. One block from the Cottage you can catch the #40 bus to Downtown Seattle, Fremont, and South Lake Union. Uber and Lyft are readily available in this neighborhood. Grant and Bev are garden lovers, whether it's pottering in the garden, BBQ'ing outside the main house or just chilling. Our kids are also outdoor enthusiasts so will be in and out the garden space around the main house. There is also a store room built at the back of the Cottage with access only from the garden that we use time to time. We respect your privacy and space. The patio area outside the Cottage is for your exclusive use.

Hotel Alternative, near airport/Seahurst beach A/C

We have had so much fun providing a wonderful place to stay for our guests visiting Seattle. We have traveled often and are always looking for an affordable yet perfect place to stay. Our apartment offers all the comforts of home during your travels. Please enjoy our above garage apartment. You will find everything you need for your stay in Seattle. We are 5 minutes from the airport in Burien and walking distance from Old Burien where you will find great restaurants and shopping. We are close to Seahurst beach if you want to walk on the beach and enjoy a sunset. We are about 15 min driving distance from downtown Seattle. You have your own outside entrance and a private parking space in the backyard. Inside you will find a full bath and full kitchen, for those who love to cook. There is a Trader Joes not far for fun food without all the work. We will have coffee and basic pantry needs. Just stop for groceries if you would like to prepare your own favorite recipes. Lightly furnished, towels and bedding are provided. The mattress is extremely comfortable with wonderful bedding. Wi Fi is available and there is full cable. We are happy to take any reservations last minute. Please let us know if you need an early check in or a late check out. I live in Olde Historic Issaquah. Guest house built 2018. Four blocks To on ramp to 1-90. Within 1/2 block to covered bus stop to express 554 bus to Seattle & Bellevue College and Connection to light rail. I am with 2 blocks of 12 restaurants, live theater, museums, city library, Salmon hatchery, community remodeled gym and indoor pool &local parks. I live on the property. Built Summer 2018. I live 1 block to Tiger mountain hiking&biking trails. 8 Miles to Bellevue. Costco Headqtrs 4 Miles
