Perfect river retreat - views and fun bunkroom!

KarenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We came to the area for my son's wedding at a nearby venue. We had a mix of adults & young kids. Plenty of space for all of us. The kids loved the bunk room. Lots of kid's activities inside & outside of the house. The view from the back of the house is very peaceful. Ruby is a good communicator, responsive to questions. Everything was as she described. Our family enjoyed the stay, thanks!

The house is so cozy and made with so much love that you immediately feel at home. Perfectly clean and has absolutely everything you need. The host is exceptionally responsive and helpful and provided us with all the information we needed. If you like fishing or kayaking, you should definitely come. Well if you love nature and birds, this is your place. Big and small, there are a lot of them, and you can watch them endlessly. The place is very quiet and relaxing. I hope we come back.

Absolutely amazing place and host!! There was an air conditioning issue that Juan went so far above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. House and finishes are top notch. I wish I could give more stars. You will be hard pressed to find a better place and host.

Apartment/view of Rappahannock River Tappahannock

JinkyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Dayna has decorated her place with many interesting antiques and eclectic objects. There's always something new to discover and good books to leaf through. It's a pretty and cozy place with a spacious bath and well-appointed kitchen, and a living room that easily seats four. Parking is an easy pull-in next to the apartment, off the street. There are renters upstairs who are quiet. The only somewhat negative is the road noise, though this isn't bad at night and we slept well. Dayna was responsive and helpful with questions we had about the area.

Paradise on the Pamunkey!

ShelbyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed here for the night after attending a wedding at Cousiac Manor. The house is only a 15-minute drive away from the venue which was super convenient. It’s quiet, clean, and well-stocked with snacks, drinks, coffee, and tea. The view of the river outside is beautiful as well. We didn’t have much time to chat while we were there, but Lisa was helpful and friendly during our brief conversation.
