We booked to stay with Pippa last minute as we were having car trouble and were due to fly from Bristol airport the next morning. Pippa was very responsive and approved our booking swiftly. Pippa gave clear instructions for us when we got to the property. It was immaculately clean, cosy and overall a gem of a find. It was the first time we have travelled away with our 5 month old baby, and Pippa had a cot at the property to set up for us which was so helpful. The bed was super comfy and we all had a great nights rest before a long day of travelling. Only 5 miles from the airport too, so great location to stay before flying from Bristol. Would highly recommend and would book again in future. 5* host and property!

The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. It’s situated in lovely grounds of the main property. We used the house as a base to go into Bath for some activities

The cottage is delightfully quirky with so many interesting touches - the hosts clearly have great taste and you can just tell they've really thought about the details. Lovely Georgian house with lots of original features and very comfortable. Plenty of downstairs space which was also great as we brought our dog's crate with us for her to sleep in and there were plenty of location options for that. Lovely secluded, sunny and enclosed garden at the front. The super king and king size double bedrooms were very comfortable - especially the mattresses. Easy walks with the dog from the house - steep hills though but amazing views in to Bath and across the valley. 5 minutes drive to the Park & Ride on Saturday. Just one bathroom but plenty of room, good shower and lots of light.

What a lovely little hidden gem! I love my stay here even though it was only one night so comfortable like a Home from Home with everything you need. The town Centre is only about 10 minutes drive away. The bed is super comfy and the shower is amazing. Everything was tastefully decorated. I would happily booked to come back here again. I would recommend staying here.

Just got back from a fabulous couple of days staying in Jane’s lovely accommodation. So lucky to have had loads of sunshine enabling us to enjoy the sun terrace but equally as great to cuddle up in the cosy lounge to catch up on Race Across the World! Spotless kitchen and bathrooms with really clear instructions as to how everything worked . Lots of great things to do in the area yet only a 30 minute easy walk into the city itself . Highly recommend x

We stayed at Andrew's place for a week whilst visiting Bath for a family wedding and we were delighted with this wonderful home. The house was immaculate, with stunning panaromic views over Bath and we had a fabulous time as a family sitting out and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. Andrew provided everything we needed for a great stay, including guides for the local area and all the amenities we needed for a week stay. The house is a wonderful space for larger families like ours to stay in. Check in was seamless and we couldn't have asked for a more helpful and friendly host! We would love to stay here again in the future when we visit our family in Bath, thank you for making my sister's wedding week such a fabulous experience!

We had a lovely stay at Aston Cottage over the May bank holiday weekend. We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children. The older adults did plenty of walking around the Estate, and the children had a great time in the play areas, soft play and the swimming pool! Two of the adults brought their own bikes and made good use of these too. Alex and Emma were excellent hosts, and were very responsive to any queries we had, both before we arrived and after. There was a small hiccup with the hot water, but this was soon sorted, once I raised. The early check in was very welcome, and so by the time our supermarket shop arrived, we were all set to start the weekend. The house and bathrooms were well equipped with condiments and bathroom 'stuff'. The Pizza shack was a great find! The only negative comments were that it was difficult to warm up the cottage, and the cleaners could pay more attention to detail, ie oven needs cleaning and there were many cobwebs! Thank you both!

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

Great place with perfect hosts! The barn is lovely throughout and the location is perfect for lots of interesting places to visit! As hosts, they were really communicative and also respectful of our situation with a nervous dog. Highly recommend!!

A beautiful cottage in fabulous surroundings. Great for adults and children alike. Victoria was a wonderful host and very communicative. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue. The kitchen is particularly well appointed - even down to a meat thermometer. - very good quality utensils. Lots of games to play including an X- box.

Tamsins home was pristine well thought out and everything was quality there are so many thoughtful touches around the kitchen and around the house and the log burner was glorious Tamsin was so accommodating and helpful if there were any questions. She offered myself and my friend a longer stay at a really good price I will definitely be back in the future. It was a blessing Thankyou

Lovely spot in friar woods , we did a bit of touring around the sites and even managed an evening in bath with a 20min walk to the train station - Jenny and Richard were both very acclimating and made our weekend lovely with ideas and just a lovely feeling, would love to come back and see more of the local walks etc

Me and my friends had a wonderful time at the Showman's hut. Everything was just as we had imagined. Peaceful and relaxing. The only problem we had was that we should have booked the hot tub 48 hours in advance and I did 24 instead so we could not use the hot tub. In the end Neily was very accommodating by giving us some extra logs for the firepit and barbeque which we appreciated. Next time I will make sure to book the tub in advance to enjoy the full experience at Showman's hut as it looked amazing. Thank you Neily for the hospitality.

Lovely cottage, beautifully arranged, great location with easy access to Bath and local pubs,restaurants and villages. Beautiful private space including spacious garden with fence and gate meaning our dog was free to roam. Plants meant hot tub was also well protected. Poppy was really communicative and supplied lovely extras, beds were very comfy, everything was to a really high standard. Great value.

An absolutely beautiful place to stay! My husband and I spent our 1st wedding anniversary here and couldn’t have chosen better. Waking up to the stunning countryside views was incredibly peaceful and serene. Each day, we took short trips into Bath to explore the city, then returned to the calm and comfort of the countryside in the evening, it was the perfect balance. Laura was a wonderfully friendly and responsive host, ensuring everything was spotless for our arrival. She even left us some delicious local food, which made for the perfect breakfast on our first morning.

Can’t thank Catherine enough. Incredibly helpful from booking the stay until we left. It’s a beautiful cosy barn, very peaceful indeed and we slept like babies. Catherine had thought of everything and we even had a welcome hamper with lovely bits x Really easy quick walks to the cheddar gorge. Catherine’s welcome guide explained everything and really did help immensely. Thank you, thank you !! We will highly recommend to our friends and family and will certainly stay again. Everything excellent!

We couldn't have asked more from our stay at The Loft. Close enough to enjoy busy Bath, but far enough out of the city to enjoy the peaceful, private countryside. We felt like we were in our own little oasis! The hot tub was a real treat. We were lucky with the weather and was able to take advantage and sit outside into the evening. I would fully recommend The Loft and are hoping to come back again next year!

We had a fabulous time at the the Hidey Hole. It was a great base from which to explore the beautiful city of Wells, as well as being a stylish destination in its own right. A hidden gem, we can’t wait to return.
