Staywas comfortable and peaceful. No weird neighbors no loud noise. Fast responses!

The house was nice and the beds were comfortable, but the backyard was like a little paradise. There are fruit trees, a swimming pool, and a nice covered patio area. We had several meals at the table outside and even though it was warm, there was always a nice breeze. We all really enjoyed the swimming pool and there were a couple of inflatables available for use as well, which was a nice touch. Martha was quick to respond to any questions I had.

We had a great time in Faye’s Airbnb. Everything was as described in the listing.

We absolutely our stay here. The rooms were large, spacious with comfy beds. The living room is massive and great to facilitate conversation and bonding. The pool and hot tub were such a great treat for a hot day. Spent a whole day in the backyard eating on the patio dining set and lounging in the loungers. 10/10 would rent again

We had a fun stay at Jake’s place. Cozy, clean home with a well stocked kitchen. Prime location to Kernville and beautiful view of the mountains. We felt right at home.

This house is exactly as listed. From the moment you walk in the door, you are welcomed with fresh scent and a very clean space. Great open layout for families traveling together. The backyard has a great area to gather and watch tv, we used the bbq pit which worked great, the game room and of course the clean pool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and bbq with your family. Ray is very responsive and we had zero issues. Neighborhood is very safe and quiet. If we were on the area again we would definitely look this place up again. Thanks for having family and I!

I booked this listing for a getaway stay with my family and I. We wanted lots of greenery and great activities nearby. This listing had all we were seeking. A beautiful view, lots of greenery and hiking trails close by. Additionally, the location is quiet and peaceful with kind neighbors. Waking up in the master bedroom with the beautiful view was just breathtaking. Also, we were able to grill some steak on the grill that they provide. We found out that their gas tank was empty, so we refilled it for them and they kindly reimbursed us the amount. The hosts are easy to reach when questions arise and are hospitable, always asking us how they can improve our stay. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking forward to staying at this listing.

We met Terry and he was very personable, helpful and cared about making sure that you have everything you need. The property has many animals and offered to give us a tour when he was feeding them. The place is spacious. The only thing that I would say is that if the description says a 2bd, it is actually 1 bedroom that has a door and the "bunkbed room" is open with no door. Didn't really make a huge difference to us. We enjoyed our 1 night. It is about 15 minutes off the 5 freeway.

The apartment was home for almost 3 months and quite comfortable and very well equipped! lovely and safe location...loved that this apt was at very back! Laura herself was quickly responsive and a true sweetheart! ty again for making my time away from my flooded home comfortable!

Laura was very nice and responsive. Our flight got delayed until the next morning and she offered us to stay extra until 4pm but our schedule did not allow us. We had to head to LA as soon as we landed. We will stay at her place next time we visit Bakersfield.

The beds are comfortable

We booked this home for our family Christmas trip, and it honestly surpassed our expectations. Lots of room for a big family. The sauna was a plus for us, it snowed when we stayed there and it was such a perfect cozy home for after some snow fun. There isn’t much of a grocery store nearby besides a convenience store. We took a lot of things from outside of the town(near castaic stopped by a Ralph’s) which helped with meals and snacks. They did provide a lot of toiletries so that helped, I would definitely travel again to this property with my family next year. communication was very easy to have and check-in was a breeze!

We spent a long weekend getaway at Pete’s with our children. The house was clean, quiet and comfortable. It is very close to everything but also secluded in a private neighborhood tucked back away from the main road. It had every single thing we needed and way more. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views from the porch. We would absolutely stay again. Pete was a great host- he was easy to communicate with and gave very clear instructions.

We had an incredible stay at this fantastic property! The pickleball courts, dog run, and outdoor seating area with heat lamps were perfect for our family. The beautiful grounds, complete with chickens and a cozy fire pit with provided firewood, made the experience even more memorable. Our stay was a last-minute booking on Christmas Day after we arrived at another Airbnb that was unsanitary and unacceptable. The hosts were wonderful, giving us instant access to their property and turning what could have been a disastrous holiday into an unforgettable experience. We had a wonderful stay in Bakersfield! The home was spacious, clean, and had plenty of room for my family and my sisters. The bedding was incredibly comfortable—truly felt luxurious after a long day. I especially loved the family bedroom setup with a queen bed and two twins—perfect for making my young boys comfortable in a new environment! One of the highlights was staying in such a unique and historical place right in the heart of downtown. It felt like we were part of the city’s story. Highly recommend this stay for families or groups looking for comfort, charm, and a great location.

I had a large group getting together for our annual friendsgiving celebration and this place was perfect! Everything was comfortable and easy. They even allowed me to check-in early which I really appreciated. The location is beautiful. We went on a hike and utilized the club pickleball courts. The only thing was there wasn’t a dishwasher- which was a bit surprising given the size of the house and kitchen. It was okay for us, but something to be aware of if you plan to do a lot of cooking as we did. Otherwise a very well equipped house. Overall everything was great and we all had a good time.! Thanks very much!
