House vacation rentals in Kerames

Séjour en famille (2 adultes et deux enfants en bas âge) dans le logement de Kostas. Le lieu est spacieux, fraichement rénové avec tous les équipements nécessaires. (Lit de bébé disponible). Le logement est très calme et propre. La terrasse est très agréable (En avril, il faisait trop frais pour profiter de la piscine). Deux tavernes disponibles sur Apostoli. Nous avons préféré celles de Agia Foteni (Sivritos) et Thronos (Aravanes). Rethymno se trouve à 45 min environs. Nombreuses promenades ou randonnées à proximité. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à LotusLand. Nous y retournerions avec plaisir. Très bonne communication avec Kostas qui s’assure su confort de ses hôtes. Le seul point d’amélioration concerne l’accès. La route est en mauvais état et il est difficile de manoeuvrer. Dans la journée, nous nous garions sur la route principale (en contrebas de l’église).

We felt very comfortable right from the start and were completely satisfied with the accommodation. In addition to the wonderful terrace with a fantastic view, the accommodation has a very good location. You can reach restaurants, supermarkets and the beach within a few minutes. We are always happy to come back. :)

Stunning views and very peaceful. To get the view does mean you can’t easily walk anywhere but restaurants in Sellia are short ride up hill. Well equipped villa. Access road and parking is tight but that is typical for island. Hosts always on hand to assist. Great swimming in Plakias which is a nice seaside town. Sun from early morning to evening (on upper deck) Pool is on backside of villa we stayed in - more for cooling off than a swim. Watch the tiles on steps as they are slippery!

Der Aussenbereich ist einfach perfekt, tolle Sitzmöglichkeiten, mega Pool auch für Kids und mit dem Spa Whirlpool einfach ein Paradis! Nicht zu vergessen diesen wunderschönen Ausblick auf den Sonnenuntergang 🤩 Nicht nur die Unterkunft ist Perfekt, auch die Gastgeber, Maria und Savas sind tolle Gastgeber! Freundlich und Zuvorkommend, und immer erreichbar! Sie haben Spielsachen für meinen Sohn gebracht und Trotz der heftigen Herausforderung mit dem Saharastaub, haben sie alles dafür getan, dass wir unseren Urlaub zu 100% genießen können 😊 Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch auf Kreta und bei Maria 🥰 Danke für alles!

Det vakre huset, og de pent opparbeidede uteområdene samt bassenget, gjør stedet til en lokal, fredelig oase. Stedet er perfekt til avslappende dager med lesning, hjemmelagd mat og nedkjøling ved bassenget. Vi var så heldige å få lokale frukter og herlig hjemme bakst, av huseierne Maria og Kliton - tusen takk!:) Og vi kommer gjerne igjen, for å oppleve det uforglemmelige. A Slice of Heaven in Crete. Our stay in this beautifully designed home was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by peaceful olive groves and bathed in Cretan sunshine, every moment felt serene and special. The sweet little pool was the perfect place to unwind, and the home itself was as stunning as it was comfortable. The hosts were warm, thoughtful, and made us feel truly welcome. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already planning our return.

We loved our time here. Recently renovated with care, the house strikes a balance between modern comfort and historic charm. It’s spacious, thoughtfully designed, and finished to a high standard. Located in the quaint village of Gerani, about a 10 minute drive from Rethymno, we genuinely appreciated being outside the city and immersed in the village atmosphere. Gerani has everything you need — a supermarket, great bakeries, and a few solid restaurants — our favourite being Maxis. The village also has easy access to the highway, which made it a perfect base for day trips to beaches and nearby towns, all while skipping the congestion of Rethymno. Damnoni and Kalypso beaches on the southern coast were a highlight. We found everyone we communicated with very nice and easy to deal with. Worth the stay!

Tolle Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend & hilfsbereit. Die Familie kann man nur ins Herz schließen ❤️. Danke auch für den Osterkorb mit dem leckeren Gepäck und den Eiern. Und nicht zu vergessen, das selbstgemachte, kaltgepresste Olivenöl 😋 und viele liebevolle Details zum Empfang. Das wunderschöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Appartement mit großzügiger Terrasse hat unsere Erwartungen als Vielreisende voll erfüllt 👍. Besten Dank für die schöne Zeit auf Kreta.+

This place is fantastic. Two outdoor seating areas both with breathtaking views facing west so you can watch the sunset. We were there in December during Christmas and they had a nice wood burning stove to help warm the house in addition to an electric heater. There is nothing like the ambiance of a wood burning stove . They provided all of the firewood. They also had a fully stocked kitchen . It was an easy walk to town with all the restaurants. Almost all of which were closed when we went. The beaches are a walkable distance. One of the highlights was the Aradena gorge, a 30 minute drive. The trailhead is in a beautiful ancient town. The hike is technically challenging due to loose rocks. Honestly, one of my favorite things was the area. Off season, it is incredibly quiet and peaceful. I loved seeing all the goats and sheep on the hillsides. One thing to note is the bedroom is on the third floor and the bathroom is on the first floor. This was not an issue for us.

Excellent location to relax with an amazing view. Was the perfect size for a couple. Color and decorations make the apartment even more charming.

Casa molto bella e arredata in modo funzionale. Posizione panoramica con bellissima vista. Necessario avere a disposizione una macchina per gli spostamenti. Molto comoda la terrazza coperta nella quale si può mangiare. Ottima l’accoglienza da parte di Stavros, ci ha fatto trovare al nostro arrivo anche delle buonissime specialità cretesi che abbiamo mangiato la prima sera a cena. Consiglio la casa a chi cerca un posto tranquillo e lontano dal caos.

We had an awesome time at Nikos’s place, he gave very useful tips and his apartment is at walking distance from everything in Matala(as the village is very small). As mentioned in other posts, there are quite a few steps to the place but you get used to it, and it’s a great workout after a big dinner in one of the restaurants below. One of the days it was too windy to be on the beach so we stayed on the terrace of the accommodation with a great view of the sea, the sound of the waves and privacy from others. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Thank you Nikos!

Mai 2025, 10 Nächte Aufenthalt zu dritt (2 Erwachsene, 1 Kleinkind). Die Villa ist wirklich traumhaft. Wunderschöner Blick aufs Meer und die Bucht. Sie bietet sehr viel Platz auch für mehr Personen (2 Paare, 4-6 Freunde, 2 Familien) und für längere Aufenthalte (Stauraum, Schränke und Regale, etc.). Die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung und bietet, auch in der Küche, alles was man brauchen kann. Unser Highlight war die überdachte Terrasse. Unser Flug wurde kurzfristig vorverlegt. Ein deutlich früherer Check-In war in unserem Fall überhaupt kein Problem. Stelios ist ein sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und engagierter Gastgeber. Wir empfehlen Ihn und seine Villa ohne Einschränkung weiter. Kleine Einschränkung: die Unterkunft ist etwas ab vom Schuss bzw. die Region ist etwas zersiedelt (hauptsächlich wegen der Geographie des Geländes). Ohne eigenes Auto wird es etwas schwierig unserer Meinung nach. Einen kostenfreien Parkplatz direkt am Haus gibt es aber.

Wir waren schon im Herbst 2024 im Haus von Dionysia und da es uns rundum so super gut gefallen hat, haben wir im Mai/Juni 2025 wieder in Dionysias Haus gewohnt. Alles war so super wie bei unserem ersten Besuch. Es ist alles sehr ordentlich und sauber, die Lage ist perfekt um viele Ausflugsziele zu erreichen und Dionysia ist einfach eine wundervolle und sehr herzliche Gastgeberin. Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank liebe Dionysia ❤️

Eine Unterkunft mit einem wirklich atemberaubenden Ausblick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser zweijähriger Sohn hat sich auch sehr gut zurecht gefunden und mit uns am Pool gespielt, man sollte aber natürlich immer einen Blick drauf haben . Insgesamt wirkt die Unterkunft deutlich großzügiger als auf den Fotos und ist bestens ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es gibt sogar Hanteln für Sport und Stühle und Schirm für den Strand und ein Töpfchen für Kinder. Die Kommunikation mit Eleni lief sehr gut. Sie hat immer schnell reagiert und alles möglich gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten tolle zwei Wochen in der Villa von Vangelis und haben jede Minute genossen. Besonders toll war die Aussicht auf die Lefka Ori, der tolle Pool mit Gegenstromanlage und die vielen verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und hochwertig ausgestattet und alle notwendigen Kochutensilien sind vorhanden. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Our host was so obliging and welcoming. The house was amazing and had everything you could need down to the little details. The location was a fantastic base for exploring. Definitely will stay again.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem kleinen süßen Haus! Es war alles perfekt und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten das Glück Michaelis kennenzulernen und er ist so nett und gastfreundlich. Vielen lieben Dank Michaelis, wir kommen sehr gern wieder.♥️

We had a wonderful two weeks at this rental. Sthatis and Alexandra were fantastic hosts, very responsive and accommodating. The house is exactly like the photos (minus the hanging chairs- but they were not missed). It is ade up of two separate apartments each with 2 bedrooms. It is well equipped and gets the most beautiful sunsets, perfect for an evening barbeque . If you wish to explore the island you will definitely need a car but it is wonderfully located between many of the islands attractions and accessible from both airports. The lovely maid (whose name I cannot remember- sorry!) attended twice. We had some unusual weather while we were there, including a sandstorm which coated the entire area in dust, but Stathis and Alexandra had organised the following day to have the outdoor areas cleaned and the pool water serviced so that we could use the facilities, which we were very impressed by. Overall it was a fantastic choice and we would recommend it to anybody considering staying

Zeer mooi appartement. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Zeer proper. Uitzicht was prachtig. Chrissa was supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Haar restaurant zo vlakbij was handig. Het eten zeer lekker. Een aanrader. Alles A

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

Wir waren bis gestern in dem wunderschönen und wirklich liebevoll eingerichteten, sehr sauberen und hellen Apartment von Nikolas. Zur Begrüßung stand eine kleine Schiefertafel mit unseren Namen auf dem Regal und auf dem Küchentisch stand ein Korb mit regionalen Leckereien (Honig, Ök, Raki und Gebäck) im Kühlschrank gab es Apfelsaft, Wasser und vier Schälchen mit leckerer, selbstgemachter Nachspeise aus Joghurt und Obst. Es war sogar Waschmittel für die Waschmaschine da, sowie Haarshampoo, Duschgel und Handseife. Im hinteren Garten gibt es zwei Hängematten und man liegt da und schaut in den Olivenhain. Vom vorderen Balkon sieht man das Meer, das in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Ein gut bestückter Supermarkt ist auch nur zwei Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Wir waren jetzt schon mehrmals auf Griechischen Inseln, aber dieses Apartment ist mit Abstand das schönste von allen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön für all die hilfreichen Tipps und die schönen Tage bei Nikolas. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Die location ist besonders, wir haben es gefeiert. Schön gelegen. Total ruhig und etwas abseits. Wir fühlten uns absolut sicher. Die lokalen Restaurants waren anfangs Mai gerade geöffnet - es geht dörflich zu. Auto ist notwendig. Die Preise fair, die Menschen freundlich. Freilebende Katzen besuchen. Eine Katze hat ihre Kitten in der Nähe der Unterkunft geboren und fühlt sich dem Haus zugehörig. Der erste Mikromarkt ist 5min entfernt, in Gazi (10min) sind größere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Bad ist klein und wie alles an dem Haus liebevoll gestaltet. Ab Körpergröße 180cm erfordert die Benutzung der Toilette wegen der Beinfreiheit etwas Flexibilität. Das Haus ist ein Traum, wenn Du entspannen und runterkommen willst.
