Evangelos has a beautiful home. Exactly as described and very modern. The whirl pool was a highlight and of course the beautiful view from the terrace. The village of Sellia is very peaceful and close to many beaches. It has a small supermarket and great local restaurants. Yangos was especially a very good host. Had lots of local places for restaurants to recommend and also great recommendations for beaches. He was very responsive throughout our trip and had great communication. We were very happy with our stay overall and would like to stay here again someday!

A very nice place with an insanely beautiful view of the sea, the bay of Plakias, beautiful. It was very quiet. It was cleaned every day, great service. It was only a few minutes by car to Plakias. The place was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommend.

Maria was a great host. The air bnb and the view is fantastic. Close to amenities. However, a car is definitely needed to get out of the village!

Firstly Lena made this stay so comfortable and easy, she went above what she needed to and it was so helpful as we were checking in at 1am. The directions were easy and the old town felt super safe to navigate through Secondly the accommodation, I gasped when I walked in, it was so beautiful. The highest ceilings with exposed brick, beautifully clean with water in the fridge, toast, jam, coffee and tea as well as all the usual amenities. Side note - insanely great double glazing to block the noise out! You couldn’t hear anything disturbing (you can hear a bit but nothing extreme, which is crazy as when you open the doors it’s very noisy) Thank you again Lena. For your accommodation as well as the time you took to provide us with instructions, knowing we were arriving so late at night/early in the morning

This was one of the nicest AirBnB apartments I have rented. What was responsive to questions prior to the trip, arranging taxi service from the airport. Even though our flight was two hours late and we didn't arrive until 10 pm she was there to greet us and show us the apartment. Her restaurant recommendations were outstanding. Finally, the location on the outskirts of Old Town Rethymno could not have been better. I enthusiastically recommend this place!

From Sunrise to Sunset the North facing second floor apartment and balcony offered incredible panoramic views of the Mediterranean, Rethymnon Marina and Fortezza … absolutely no issues or problems with check in, in/out access with secure gated and covered garage parking … comfortable bed, quite building, hot water shower/sinks, flawless high speed internet, excellent cable TV, soft linens, sheets and pillows 5⭐️!

The place was very nice and as described. Daniela was very warm and helpful. We only lacked a little more cooking equipment, as we occasionally wanted to cook and were then somewhat limited with a pan. Basically, we can highly recommend the apartment and would be happy to come back. Thank you very much.

Maryellen communicated really well before and during the stay. The house is a fantastic location but you need a car or taxi to get to local restaurants and into Chania. Maryellen even booked the taxi for us to Chania. The house is fully equipped with everything. The views are amazing over looking the sea. The outside space is great with magical pool. It’s on a hill so probably not suitable for people who find it difficult with stairs and because the pool is an infinity pool you would need to be careful of children in the pool. The house is private and in a quiet location. We will be going back, one of the best Airbnb we have been to.

This was one of the most beautifully appointed, high end Airbnb's we've stayed at, and our travels have taken us all across Europe and beyond. It should be noted that Iacovos's place is a short drive fron Chania Old Town. We specifically chose such a location in order to avoid the congestion and noise which would have accompanied a stay within Old Town. After seeing the activity level there, we knew that we had chosen wisely. Honestly, we'd recommend having a car either way in order to explore outside city centre. With all that said, we had an exemplary experience in every way with Iacovos and offer our highest approval rating!

Stefanos is super sweet and offers a simple but beautiful home set amongst a wonderful area, you can start great excursions from there! Value for money top, would go there again :)

Very nice modern accommodation that fully met our expectations. The contact with the hosts was very pleasant and relaxed. We will be happy to come back on our next trip to Crete.

Chrysa is a very friendly and helpful host. She answered all our questions very fast. The apartment was very clean and just like in the pictures. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Very nice Villa and very friendly host. Her father is also living there and takes care of the garden. You can park there easily. The equipment and stuff that is available is as promised in the description. Location is actually not right next to the beach, but 10-15mins by foot, but by car it’s only 2mins. The beach there is amazing. The water is quite flat for a while, which is nice for playing in the water and probably for kids. Also the restaurants (especially Seven) there are really good and have a good price.

Probably one of the most amazing places you’ll stay anywhere! The attention to detail when the unit was remodeled, and the furnishings and extras added to make your stay comfortable, are incredible. It is located right in the middle of a vibrant area full of outdoor restaurants, music, and shopping. The hosts are extremely responsive, we were late getting in but that was not a problem. During our stay we unfortunately encountered one of the red dust storms that Chania periodically receives, but they came the next day and cleaned the outer areas. We were lucky with the parking the first three nights, but for some reason the fourth night was a challenge however we did eventually find a garage about 15 minutes away. Also, I would not recommend the unit for younger children or someone unsteady on their feet as the stairs in the unit are quite steep especially to the roof, and there is no washing machine though a laundromat is just a few minutes walk. Would absolutely stay again!

Mike was great from the start…we booked last minute and he texted me immediately. He made everything very easy and was extremely friendly when we got there to check in. He showed us everything about the apartment that we needed to know and gave us lots of tips on where to go to eat and to see the best sites. The rooftop space was beautiful and the apartment was very close to everything in the area… We were able to walk to everything! I would definitely recommend staying there… Thank you, Mike!

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

We loved our stay at the Alice Villa. Location is truly fantastic for shopping and loads of restaurants. We spent quite a bit of time at the villa when the weather wasn’t the greatest and we couldn’t have been happier. Thank you Marianna for the wonderful hospitality and the gifts. Have to mention the people we met in the restaurants and on the streets, soooo friendly. We were very sad to leave. Could’ve stayed a lot Longer. Book it, youll love it. Until next time.
