A lovely cottage in a lovely town. Super comfortable beds and a great shower. Well equipped kitchen and the garden overlooking the river was a delight….very friendly neighbours, too! We would definitely stay again. Ten out of ten.

A lovely place to stay, we all really enjoyed our time here. The welcome basket was very generous and much appreciated. The house is just as described and as seen in the photos... perfect. Just got back from having 3 lovely nights stay at Carr Cottage. The cottage is spacious, very clean, well equipped, comfortable & warm. Good size bathroom with an excellent shower and large towels which is always a bonus. We only used the first floor bedroom but the bed was so comfortable. The location is perfect for getting to Halifax, bus right outside your door, an hour walk to Sowerby Bridge along the canal and a bus at the bottom of the road to Hebden Bridge. Also, a friendly local pub a few minutes walk down hill too. Thank you Ric & Ingrid for being great hosts, will recommend 😊

exceeded our expectations from the start especially with the amazing views whilst in the hot tub. Very clean, homely and peaceful also great for dog walks. We will definitely be returning in the future! ☺️

Gorgeous cottage, clean, very well equipped and lovely touches with the welcome box left for us. Bed very comfortable and lovely new kitchen too. The garden was very welcoming too and beautifully kept. We very much hope to stay again.

A wonderful house in a lovely location! As a large group comprising a 19 month old, an almost 3 year old, a 5 year old, two 30-something couples and a couple celebrating their 70th birthdays this year, nobody wanted for anything. The house is furnished to a very high specification, everything is spotlessly clean, and there is plenty of space for everyone to socialise together. The kitchen is very well equipped and the view from the back garden (and the hot tub) is beautiful. The games room is also a nice touch! We had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend this house.

We’ve had a fantastic week at Jim and Jen’s cottage which is in a great location for walking the dog, Jim was a great host and recommended some lovely walks with amazing views, The cottage was cosy and felt like home from home and the welcome pack was lovely too

We really enjoyed our 1 week stay at Ivy Nest. We had our 2 little dogs with us. Comfy bed, nice homely house, good location for amenities. Always got parked near the house and used the parking permit. Jaqueline was always friendly, left us personal recommendations (especially dog friendly places) and personal touches (cute blackboard welcoming us too) Check in was made super easy with Jacquelines picture instructions. Welcome book full of info. Internet good which was handy as we didnt have good phone signal there. We enjoyed some of the takeaways in the area as well as cooking in the house. Jaqueline left us to it, but was on hand if we needed anything. We would stay again if visiting the area.

What a beautiful lodge, set in a beautiful place! The site was absolutely lovely. Everything you needed the lodge had. The instructions booklet was very helpful as we had 3 children with us and a dog so looking for activities to suit us all. Overall a lovely stay, we will most definitely be returning maybe just the grown ups this time lol for abit more of a relax xx

We had a lovely 3 night stay as a party of 6 plus a little one. James communicated well without throughout and we were even able to check in early. Even when the power for hot tub had tripped James was on it straight away. Would definitely recommend staying and look forward to booking again

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

We had such a lovely stay! Location was great for short and long walks and we were able to make the most of the spa access on rainy days which made our stay extra special. Ashley kept us updated on things we needed and left us a few treats which was very kind. Thank you - the 4 of us had a great long weekend and would definitely consider staying again 😊

Charming and full of character, with fabulous pool and hot tub. Loved our stay with family. Granddaughter filled with excitement throughout our stay.

Donna’s was a fantastic place and base for our trip to Bowland, it was perfectly situated and had everything you would have needed! We had a great time and would love to visit again some time!

Really nice caravan in a lovely location, so nice being next to the park too! Great break for a rest mixed with some beautiful walks and cycling routes about a 15 minute drive from the location, or 30 minutes if you fancy going a bit further out. Lots of extra little touches which make life easier I.e fresh towels, soaps and hair dryer, cleaning products and what not. Stress free break! Highly recommend

Joanne’s place was fabulous! We were sad to leave! It was spotless, the beds were so comfortable and we had everything we could possibly need. The place was a short walking distance to the incredible town of Saltaire. We stayed for 5 nights and could have easily stayed another 5! We highly recommend this beautiful home.

Absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. The waterfalls were such a beautiful surprise, walk to the pub through the fields was short and easy and the cabin itself was exactly what we wanted and more. Paul and Julie were so helpful and accommodating and took time to show us around and chat about the house and surrounds. Have already recommended to friends and hope to visit again soon!

It was a great place for an extended weekend. Karen & Dave were amazing hosts and made our stay even more pleasant. When we arrived there was a great welcome pack that included bread, eggs , some crisps, a pack of epic biscuits, and some butter and milk in the fridge and the best touch of all a lovely bottle of white wine. The field behind the house was perfect and our 2 collies, Odin & Storm loved it. All in all a perfect property and hosts !!!

Had such a lovely stay at Victorias place, was just perfect for a quiet local weekend away for me and my boyfriend. Very peaceful area with some nice walks. The cottage was lovely and clean. Everything was perfect Victoria even provided some bowls and a towel for my dog. 10/10 will definitely stay again 😊

This was the most gorgeous property, we have never stayed somewhere quite as entrancing. It was so cosy with stunning views and plenty of fairy lights. We couldn’t recommend it enough, the location was superb, perfect for adventures and such a wonderful place to return to in the evening. We only wish we had booked longer. The owners were lovely. Thanks ever so much.

We had such a wonderful overnight stay at this beautiful Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owners lovely family — they were all so kind, helpful, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The accommodation itself was spotless and beautifully decorated, with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. Being surrounded by animals was an absolute highlight. All of them were incredibly friendly, and it was such a joy to be able to watch them roam and interact so freely. It truly felt like a peaceful escape into nature. We were also provided with lots of helpful information about the area, including great walking routes although we were very happy to just stay in the Airbnb and take in our surroundings and the gorgeous views from there. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and so memorable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded my gorgeous animals!

Tom and Sarah's cottage apartment is in a beautiful location with amazing stunning views especially from the bedroom window. The apartment was very clean with a very comfortable bed, it was ideal for our weekend break. Tom and Sarah are lovely hosts with good recommendations, communicating with them was very easy. We would highly recommend this place.
