The accommodation is a container house. It is a very compact inn. Limited to one group per day. Check-out is at 9 am the next morning. One building is a living room. The other building has a bedroom and a toilet. The bed is a bunk bed. Because it is compact, it is not suitable for large people or people with physical disabilities. In order to provide cheap accommodation, we also use reused furniture, so there is some dirt. Please understand. Surrounded by the forest, you can hear the birds singing during the day. At night, you can also hear deer. Get away from the daily grind and spend time under the stars in the garden. The location is excellent, with Takatsubashi bus stop right in front of the building. You can take a bus from the inn to Hongu Taisha Shrine, Kawayu Onsen, Yunomine Onsen, and Shingu Station. There is no bath, but there is a shower room. If you want to take a bath, you can also go to the nearby Kawayu Onsen. It is in a very convenient location, about 550 m (about 7 minutes on foot) to Kumano Kodo and Kinkou Oji, a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and restaurants (Shoji Teahouse and Tororo-ya). The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so we will do our best to accommodate your questions and advice about walking the Kumano Kodo, as well as pick-up and drop-off when you need it. This is a private rental inn in an old private house renovated by the children of the free school "Kuma Nobi" with crowdfunding. By staying here, you will be supporting the free school. Please relax in an environment surrounded by nature. It is located 10 minutes by car from Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine, and we can pick you up and drop you off. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Meals are not included, but a set of homemade bread is included for breakfast.

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)
