Our stay was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed by the outstanding cleanliness of the entire space. It was truly spotless and felt incredibly welcoming. Beyond the immaculate condition, the service was excellent in every way. Our host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Honestly, everything about this Airbnb was simply good – even great! We had a fantastic time and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nara. Thank you for such a superb experience!"**

English: I stayed in a stunning 200-year-old machiya (traditional townhouse) with a Japanese garden near Kansai Airport with friends, and it was absolutely beautiful 🥺! Every corner was filled with Japanese charm, and I fell in love at first sight. The host was incredibly warm and attentive. Not only did they give us handcrafted accessories made by the hostess, but they also brought us ice cream in the evening. During the room tour upon check-in, Mr. Mino showed me around every part of the house while explaining details—every arrangement was thoughtfully considered, making me feel truly cared for. When checking out, I even got to meet the adorable Apollo 🥰.

The Host was very welcoming and wrote a welcome sign at the door. Although it was very far and tiring to walk from JR Station, it was still comforting to see such a warm welcome. After ringing the doorbell, the Host ran all the way to greet us. She was a very polite and friendly woman: she helped us with our luggage, showed us around the house, and gave us a lot of good advice and tips.On the day of departure, the Host was also very welcoming and offered to take us to the JR Station by private car to take the train.Despite some language barriers (we are mainland Chinese, sometimes we don't understand English), we still talked a lot: anime, band...The environment is very beautiful, there are some flowers and plants in the small yard, the air is fresh, and there is a shrine next to it that can calm our hearts.Overall, the experience of this trip is very good and worth trying. The last sentence is to tell us Chinese people: it is very worth trying, trust us, Chinese people do not lie to Chinese people!

I had such a wonderful time at this beautiful , clean, architecturally sophisticated modern home. I experienced a generous young couple , smart and intelligent businesslady Maya and her wonderful partner Hide made me feel like being at a home away from home. The quiet location is well connected , 5 minutes from the station and perfect to explore Nara and Kyoto being only 40 minutes away .The house has all the amenities you could dream of , a very nice touch is the free organic tea , mineral water and a luxury bonus is the filtered shower keeping you clean and fresh , super valueable in a hot japanese summer .Being worldtravelers themselves representing the best of a young japanese generation who is openminded it was great fun and fascinating to talk and on many occasions i was impressed with their knowledge and insights of traditional and modern Japan .Thankyou so much for your wonderful hospitality you are the ( secret ) Airbnb superstars one can only dream of . Love you guys !

Mahoro-no-Yado [Renovated old house for rent. Discover the unspoiled landscape of Japan in Asakura, Asakura]

We really liked the accommodation. The highlights are the living room and bathroom. All in all, very clean, very well furnished, authentic and cosy. After Tokyo and Kyoto, we wanted some peace and quiet and decided in favour of this accommodation. You should definitely hire a bike and then explore the ancient ruins. It's wonderful on a bike. There are also very nice little cafés in the town. A Seven Eleven is very easy to reach on foot, so you can stock up on groceries. We had a very nice time out on our honeymoon.

Standard Japanese-style room with garden view

Fantastic amenities and space for a one-night stay. The walls are thin but it wasn’t a major problem for us and earplugs were provided. Definitely recommend!
A modern dehumidifier is positioned against a wall, featuring a sleek design with labeled controls on the top. The appliance blends into the room's interior, with a muted color palette that complements the floor's texture.
