This is a little haven in Bhaktapur! Right near the square but honestly so quiet and peaceful most of the time (sometimes early morning music for certain celebrations). The home was exactly what we needed for some winding down for our last few days in Nepal. Suni met us at the house and was so friendly, welcoming and showed us how everything worked but also understood we were tired and had just been on an 8 hour bus ride so didn’t overwhelm us at all. So helpful with messaging prior to the booking also! The place really is just such a sanctuary. It is worth noting it has multiple levels as it is a traditional Nepalese style inner city house. Quite steep and narrow stairs but we (my partner and I or are 32 & 27) had no issues with this but might impact some guests. There were multiple areas to just relax, the bedroom was beautiful and you can access the roof which we loved for sunset and views over the square! It felt so lovely there - I could leave there!!
A spacious bedroom is displayed, featuring a large bed with white linens and decorative pillows. Two framed artworks are mounted on the wall above the bed. A wardrobe stands against the wall, and a window with wooden accents allows for natural light to enter the room.
