Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Karlskrona

We spent two nights in Lisa's accommodation and were very happy! Received clear directions and check-in info before arrival. The accommodation was clean and fresh and felt larger than in the pictures. Cozy cottage with peaceful and quiet surroundings. Sheets, towels and everything needed for cleaning was available.

Jonna's house is a dream come true for people who prefer peace and quiet and want to treat themselves to a break from everyday stress! Many spots for an after-work beer or after-work whisky are within walking distance. The supermarket is less than 10 minutes away by car. For people who also like to move around, you can easily jog through the forest with beautiful views. In addition, there is also an outdoor gym in Verkö, where it is worth stopping by. Overall, the place is highly recommended!

Nine of us (six adults and three children) stayed in the house over the Easter weekend. It’s located within walking distance of the coast, where you can enjoy beautiful walks, explore the area, or even go for a swim. The house itself is warm and welcoming, and it has everything you might need, including a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of toys, and a great outdoor area where we had our first barbecue of the year. There are also a few bicycles one can use. Rebecka and her father-in-law were both very helpful and kind. They allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was fantastic—and especially appreciated by the children, who made the most of the trampoline. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

We were very happy to stay at Anna's house. I went with my father and the house was a good fit for our needs as two adults with separate bedrooms. As you can see in the listing, a lot of furniture in the house is from recycling. It has a lot of charm, but the dining table, for example, is a bit unstable, so you just have to be prepared for that. It was great with afternoon sun on the terrace, green right outside the window, and walking distance to the water. However, there was no ladder at the jetty (in early May 2025). It was a bit cold the house the first night, but it turned out we could just adjust the temperature on the heaters and after that it was a nice temperature. The house is close to beautiful nature and a short drive to Karlskrona. We hope to have the chance to stay at Anna's house another time!

A beautiful cottage in a very quiet environment. Good directions, we found it easily. Car required. Wifi very reliable. The communication with Patrick was friendly and reliable

We are extremely happy with the stay at Camilla and Patrik’s house. They are nice and fun! The house has chicken, dog and sheep nearby which our daughter enjoyed. It also has a hot tub and nice patio that adults enjoyed. The bed is nice, the kitchen is fantastic. The only thing to call out is that the narrow staircase is a bit tricky for our two-year old daughter to walk down. So we decided to bath the kids outdoor instead. That was kind of fun too! Overall, I feel it was a fantastic place to relax. We would definitely recommend the place and would be happy to stay at the property again if the opportunity arises. Thanks Camilla and Patrik!

I had a great stay at Helge's house! You can get to the island very easily and free of charge from Karlskrona. The ferry leaves approximately every 30 minutes. The few islanders were all very friendly and always greeted. The small supermarket is really very well stocked and has everything you need for weekly shopping. The house and location are at least as beautiful as in the pictures! You can only feel comfortable, switch off perfectly and forget any stress. Helge is extremely nice and accommodating. A really great host. He even has a newer boat than the one in the photo with more horsepower. I strongly recommend that Helge give a briefing, as it is quite rocky close to the water surface. I had a fantastic time. Good for dropouts, couples or family who can also occupy themselves. Price/performance was excellent!

We stayed at Susan and Greg's house for a week. The two were extremely friendly and accommodating and the small conversations in between made you feel all the more comfortable. The house itself is lovingly and comprehensively furnished. We didn't miss anything. In about 15 minutes you are in the city of Ljungby and find everything you need in terms of local amenities. On site there are plenty of hiking opportunities. The adjacent lake can be accessed by boat and probably also fished. In the end, I can only say that we all felt very comfortable and would be happy to return if we are drawn back to Ljungby.

Ylva and Gustav were excellent hosts! Any issues or questions we had were responded to quickly and resolved promptly. The house was beautiful with a lovely garden - perfect for young kids to play in with a climbing frame, swings, trampoline and various toys (both outside and inside). The house is perfect for a young family. We would definitely stay here again!

Very cozy apartment in a residential area. Quiet and nice, walking distance to most things. Very good host who responds quickly and is accommodating. Here we can stay again :)

I stayed there for 2 months because I was moving to Sweden. Helped us out and let us stay longer. Always responsive and very good to talk to him. Cozy little apartment which has everything you would need. I would definitely choose staying there again. Highly recommend.

Quiet and beautiful area. Close to everything in northern Österlen. Friendly and well-received by the host. It may be good to keep in mind that the accommodation is a little smaller in sqm than it looks in the photos. Just enough for two people. Possibly, a small child can fit. Otherwise, clean and fresh and has what you need. Extra nice with the small patio.

A nice accommodation, simple but cozy. Everything worked very well and it is well located to go to the village, Revhaken and Kronoskogen which are my favorite places in my place of residence.

Cozy house, beautiful view from the windows, but you have to get used to the stove. Perfect place for a man.

We had a lovely stay at Jonna’s place. The bedroom is small, the living space is large and nicely decorated and the kitchen was very functional. In nice weather, the outside porch would be the best place to relax at. There is lovely walking areas close by. Jonna was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this place.

Warm, likeable and wonderful hosts. We felt very comfortable and immediately took Brana & Anders into our hearts. The place was lovely and there were flowers in the kitchen and lavender in the living room and bedroom to welcome us. We were allowed to snack on tomatoes, physalis and raspberries from the garden. The tips for excursions were good and the surrounding area is wonderful.

Not the first time, and won't be the last, everything is great as usual : )

Good overnight stay for workers, appropriate distance to Mörrum's use. Clean and nice in quiet area! Very good hosts who responded quickly and were able to help in case anything was missing (in our case pot)! Recommended for others and would use it again!

Everything was smooth and Peter was very quick to respond and a warm and welcoming host :) only observation is that it would be good to have a trash can in the toilet especially the one with shower.

The apartment is beautiful and exactly as shown in the pictures. Daniel is a great host and we felt right at home. The area invites you to stroll or simply relax. We were there in early June and the water was still too cold to go in, so there wasn't too much going on and it was very private. The accommodation is highly recommended, we will definitely come back. :)
