Mama-San and Papa-San are some of the best people I’ve met. They are very kind and very personable. I felt like I was at home or at my grandparents house. They gave me great recommendations on things to do in the area. They treated us like family. I would go back in a heartbeat. They also have great food

My few nights stay was super relaxed and I felt right at home. all of the employees here were very welcoming. Great place to meet travellers while you whip up a meal in the shared kitchen or while surfing the waves right out the front door!

Excellent location, helpful hosts. Even when busy the place was clean and also quiet! Public transport is somewhat limited but I was still able to travel to nearby locations by bus for walks. Great food nearby as well. Everything as advertised essentially, it's right at the lovely beach. Free use of bikes would have been great I think with a few more local routes I had my eye if I had stayed for longer. Seems great if you are a surfer (I'm not) certainly seems like a good spot with many on the water.

Great lodge in a beautiful area. Kieren was super kind and helpful for our whole stay, going out of his way for us, and making delicious food every morning and night. We were able to chat with other guests during the meals, but also we could choose not to. There is a nice spacious bath which we were able to use all to ourselves at a time of our choosing (there were few other guests). I can't recommend this place enough, if you're in the area definitely stay here!

The owner and staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. If you are looking to surf, everything you need is accessible here. They had clean facilities, necessary amenities, and comfortable bedding. I visited during a trip to Tokyo to surf for a couple days, and I am glad I did. I highly recommend checking out this spot on Onjuku Beach. The beach is right out back, so I also had a nice view in the morning to know how the waves were from my bed.

I absolutely love the place. It's at a great location with a sea view room and a balcony. The staff is lovely, very helpful, kind, and friendly. I would stay there again.

This place is very nice and he is a great host. The location is perfect for ski trips or adventuring in the mountains. We had a group of 5 and it fit us perfectly.

I used Masatoshi's room for a family ski trip this time.Very warm and clean accommodation.I didn't book dinner so I took it to a delicious shop nearby.There is also a hot spring next door, which was great.After the hot spring, when I returned to Masatoshi's room, there was an interesting tea party waiting for me, delicious sake, and my neighbors handmade sashimi with my children, sushi, and residents from various countries (US, Italian, Chinese, Japanese), and everyone ate together, and had a lot of fun talking.The next day, it was very sunny, and after a delicious breakfast, we played a little and headed to the ski slopes again, which was very good. And even though it only stopped for one day, it was very helpful to borrow the entire ski set for two days, considering the money side. Masatoshi, thank you for making good memories for your family.

Great place to stay, great and comfortable soak, very quiet room, excellent value for money!

Great value onsen hotel. Smarter than the photos or price lead you to think. I stayed in a Japanese style room, which was very spacious. It had its own balcony, a separate seating area by the windows with fridge and teapots, mugs, etc, and a large living / sleeping space. There is an ensuite toilet and sink but the shower is in the onsen on the first floor. I received detailed check in instructions for self check in but there was a receptionist there between 4-11pm on the days I stayed so they checked me in when I arrived. The hotel is located up a hill. This means it is peaceful with super views down the mountain to the sea. However, unless you have a car you will probably rely on the local bus. It is every 40 mins and is very reliable. It departs from across the road from Kinomiya station at 14, 54 and 34 mins past the hour and drops you about 2-3 mins walk from the hotel. It is the number 11 to Ainohara. You can also pick it up from Atami station.

The lodge is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and a serene atmosphere. The rooms are not only spacious but also incredibly comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to answer our questions and provide recommendations for local attractions. The breakfast was not only delicious but also varied and plentiful. We especially enjoyed the fresh, locally sourced ingredients and the homemade sourdough bread. Thank you for everything.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The baths were great, and the vibe of our apartment perfectly reminded the traditional Japanese style, which we loved! The breakfast included was also a real plus. Thank you very much for everything you offer, highly recommend!

We stayed one night with a group of 15 friends. The space was spotless, the rooms comfortable, the Onsen relaxing, and the garden perfect for a small campfire. I highly recommend it!

The sauna and jacuzzi and the best outdoor combination of barbecue and bonfire were great to enjoy in nature and have good access from the♡ city center, so it's a good spot to go on the weekend!The hair dryer is also well-dried, so I think the woman will be helpful.

We loved staying at Naomi's place. Nori and Naomi were super friendly and helpful. Nori speaks excellent English too.

I was a home away from home, and I had a good time all the time.The bath provided was large, so it was very nice to be able to get along with four people! I also had a BBQ. There are cafes and promenades around Ichibi Lake, so you can enjoy plenty of nature.It was a very good memory!Thank you very much🙇🏼‍♀️
