The first floor is a tatami room of about 10 square meters, and a two-meter bed room, there is a small living room between the two rooms. The second floor is a tatami room of about 12 square meters, a kitchen dining room, you can cook, all cooking utensils are provided. One room on the third floor has 2 single beds. One room has a 135cm wide double bed. Each floor has a bathroom and washbasin, and two bathrooms are on the first and second floor respectively. There is a small courtyard with a dedicated smoking area! Two free parking spaces next to the house for two cars under 10 seats!

Please note that there is a heating fee in winter. It is a 10-minute walk to the lake and there are bicycles for rent. Our guest homes are a Finland style log house built 30 years ago. We are located in a quiet and relaxing area with lots of wildlife including wild birds, deer and squirrels, bears, and badgers. We are always open as we update our guest houses. Guest homes include a kitchen, bathroom, and outside BBQ and fire pit area.

Free parking for 4 cars is available. It is a 9-minute walk from Hachioji Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. Since it is a private rental, we can only allow 1-2 people to stay for up to 7 consecutive nights. Long-term stays are possible for 3 or more people. Please use it for sightseeing such as Nagatoro, Chichibu, and Ikuno, or for work. You will have the entire first floor of a rural house to yourselves.

Ohinata in Sakuho-town is a small village in a valley. I renovated a 80 years small wooden house by myself taking a long time. The building used to be used for raising silkworms by farms. It was our culture and industry to get silks in this area. You can have a calm time for having Coffee and beer, reading books, listening music... The village is surrounded by nature for hiking to mountains and rivers. Some local families live in around the house, so please stay like the village people.
