There are also several swimming-friendly lakes nearby. Astrid Lindgren's world, Vimmerby and moose parks are less than an hour away by car. Other sights are the island Blå virgin, Stensjöby and only 20 minutes to the ferry towards Gotland/Öland. Kalmar Castle and Västervik's nice environment is an hour away.

Drängstugan

In traditional little cottage with white knots on the farm in the village of Snörum you will find tranquility no matter the season. In the village there are four farms. Good opportunity to hike to various natural sights around. Climate is sunny and rainy, with great impact vegetation, with coastal smaller trees. Floating mountainous, enjoyed much of the Apollo butterfly. It is -3 km to the sea bay of Syrsan, with opportunities for swimming from cliffs and beach. -6 km to Loftahammar with grocery store and various community services .

Solhaga in wonderful nature, own boat, near Vimmerby

Welcome to Skogshuset Solhaga! Here you can enjoy the tranquility, go on adventures in the woods or discover the typical Småland. The newly renovated and modernly decorated house is about 25 minutes drive from Astrid Lindgrens Vimmerby and about 50 minutes away from Västervik and the Småland archipelago. It has all the amenities and next to the house garden, the magical forest opens up for play and contemplation. Boat in its own small lake is included and child-friendly swimming area can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

It is possible to sleep 4 people if there are 2 children. It is only a few 100 m to a great bath in the sea bay Syrsan. A nice place to stay in Rimforsa near lake Åsunden and Järnlunden where it is nice to swim, canoe and fish. We have a kitchen with all the amenities, bathroom with shower, Wi-Fi, patio with barbecue and a sofa bed in case one or two want to come along. Shop, restaurant & swimming area are within walking distance. Activities: Hike, boat, tennis, paddle, viewpoints, rock climbing, caves, MTB facility, ice skating(winter), canoeing, biking and fishing. Bikes and canoe are available to borrow.

Guesthouse with sauna/relax close to the ocean

Gästhus med utsikt ut över fält nära till strand och natur. Här har du närhet till flertalet naturupplevelser (2 stränder, flertalet utsiktplatser och bra löparspår). I boendet ingår även vårt Spahus med ång/torr-bastu, stort badkar, gym samt en extra bäddsoffa. Utanför spahuset finns en vedeldad badtunna som ni kan använda mot en extra avgift så eldar vi det varmt till er (detta måste bokas i förväg). Trädgården delas med ägarna och ni når stugan från parkeringen genom att korsa trädgården.

Kvarnstugan

Kvarnstugan is located in Fröseke in the heart of Småland. Just outside the cabin, Alsterån flows past and in the pond by the river there is a jetty with a boat that guests can use. The cottage is one of the oldest buildings in the village, has a sauna and seats up to 8 guests. Here in Glasriket you can not only visit the glassworks with their design history, outside the warm cabins there is untouched nature, lakes, cultural history and 40 minutes away is the Baltic Sea. Relax with the whole family in our peaceful space. A home overlooking open countryside and rural views, a stone's throw from the sea. In the small garden there is a furnished playhouse and a sandbox and the accommodation includes a smaller boat that can be rowed or put in your own stern for excursions on the water. Swimming is within walking distance, swimming jetty 700 meters or the beach 850 meters and two plots away there is a smaller outdoor gym.
