【100% Natural Hotspring】 Tsutaya Ryokan Mix Dorm

IvanaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I only stayed one night and was agreeably surprised by how beautiful the place was. I had booked a dormitory bed and it was very specious. Since Onsen was a new thing for me, I only tried the indoor Onsen and loved the experience. The check-in and check-out staffs both were really nice and helped me carry my big luggage up to the stairs. I had a nice stay and would definitely come back another time and also stay longer this time. Thank you.

Villa Revolla, a luxurious secret hideaway

CharlieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay at Revolla was nothing short of incredible! ✨ The property itself is absolutely stunning — beautifully designed, uniquely decorated for the art lovers, immaculately clean, and far more spacious than we expected. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, making it feel both luxurious and welcoming. Whether you're relaxing inside or enjoying the peaceful surroundings, it’s the kind of place you never want to leave. The highlight however, and what truly made our stay exceptional was the host. Incredibly kind and attentive, Keigo went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Not only did he pick us up from the station, but also made pit stops to show us some breath taking scenery, and also the convenience store! He’s got a heart of gold! Keigo’s hospitality made us feel completely at home. Revolla is a rare find — a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and location. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Shizuoka!?
A traditional wooden bath is showcased, featuring two children enjoying the warm water. The walls are lined with wood, and natural light filters in through a frosted window. Wooden steps are positioned nearby, contributing to the cozy ambiance.

(4,000 yen per person on weekdays)

MayukoRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were a group of 3 generations + a dog.In conclusion, it was great! I booked it because I thought the hot tub heated with firewood and the Irori fireplace looked fun, but it was more fun than I had imagined.A bath where you can start the fire yourself and adjust the temperature while surrounded by greenery and the scent of cypress… is there such a luxury? The water also feels soft.I enjoyed the night and morning to my heart's content. And the wonderful time spent around the fire pit.I ordered a river fish tasting set, and the char that was slowly grilled over the hearth was so delicious. The kids were also happy.Although the sweetfish was dried overnight due to the season, it was a very good snack with the flavor of plum.It was GW, so it was a little cold?I thought it would be cold, but we were warm because we were always around the fireplace. It's also a good memory that we all slept together.Thick futons were also provided, and I was able to sleep soundly. There is a swing and bouldering in the room (and you can climb it to the attic!)There were also toys, and the children were always playing happily. The host, Hasegawa, was very kind and warmly welcomed me.I was grateful for the prompt reply when I had a problem during my stay. There was only one inconvenience, but the chopsticks were thin, so it might be a good idea to bring your own. But that doesn't matter. If you're looking for so-called fashion and comfort, it might be a little different, but you can have an incomparably valuable and luxurious experience!I want to disturb you again. Thank you so much!

Private cottage & bathhouse on historic estate

MerelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Staying at Shelley’s guesthouse is truly a marvelous and unique experience. With all the luxury you need and an atmospheric historical space combined, this really is more than a five star experience. If you want to take a step into a world you would otherwise never experience, please stay here. Shelley really put her soul into creating this special place in Japanese nature and it is a privilege that she wants to share it with her guests. We are forever grateful to have stayed here. And please try the local bento meals, made with love by one of the villagers. If we have a chance to ever return, we would without a doubt!

Probably the best bnb I stay in Japan, just takes time walking, but it is worthwhile;First time feel people in Japan are so easy -going ,kind and nice. It is an affordable choice to explore different aspect of Japan, quite different. You will feel the warmth in the countryside, not the things you will feel in the big city like Tokyo.

Opened March 20th! 2 min walk to the beach! A private guest house in a hot spring town Renovated retro vacant house

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Hamamatsu is a quiet and lovely town. We enjoyed the 2 nights stay here with my family of 6 including 2kids and 2seniors. Host was flexible to help us get into accommodation though there was some minor hiccups to check in instructions via the electronic tablet. Accommodation was comfortable and felt at home. Kids loved the chalkboard, ping pong table and bathtub. TV also had YouTube access and access to content to entertain the family after dinner. Good washer and dryer brought convenience for the family and kitchen facilities were good. Thanks for providing a yakiniku bbq portable stove. We enjoyed a bbq dinner at home. Thanks for providing a 5 star service and make guests felt at home away from home. We also enjoyed walking around in the neighbourhood and also loved patronising the local bakery near by! Probably one of the yummy cream puff and eclairs we have eaten😍! Baked by a lovely senior couple.
