Thatched cottage on a farm in the countryside

The house is very quiet (residual farm) at the end of a dead end road, surrounded by fields, small nature reserve, near the forest, 10 minutes by car to the beautiful natural beach. The house is simply equipped. Wood central heating (all rooms can be heated, no night storage). In the winter, it is an advantage to be familiar with stove heating. We live with our three children (13, 9 and 6 years old) in the house next door and are happy to be responsive; you can also retreat to your garden area, depending on your mood.

Located near the Baltic Sea, just 5 minutes by car from the natural beach of Rosenfelde, you will stay in our bungalow, with a private garden right in the countryside. A car is advantageous to explore the adjacent towns such as Heiligenhafen, Weissenhäuser Strand, Grömitz or Dahme. There are sleeping places for 4 adults but also as a family with small children everything is available (please let us know what is needed). Shopping is about 7 km away in Grube or Oldenburg in Holstein.

This apartment was newly built and furnished in 2022. Our farm is located off the main road, very quiet and idyllic surrounded by meadows and forest. It is about 6 km to the Baltic Sea, Grömitz. You can shop in our Regiomaten or in the surrounding towns of Lensahn, Grömitz. In the season from June, we operate a farm shop where fresh vegetables from our own production are offered.

It was a very nice stay and we were greeted with a cold bottle of wine, very attentive and sweet ☺️ The garden is super nicely maintained and totally rustic, you feel comfortable and can sit well & long on the terrace. We were there with a young female dog and she was also allowed to walk on the fenced property and move freely. Fee is a very sweet host and highly recommended 🙌

We had a wonderful time and Sebastian was super nice and always friendly! The apartment is an absolute dream and very high quality! In retrospect, we would actually have liked to have stayed longer but will definitely come back again when we go to the Baltic Sea!! The playground on the property is and was a dream for our twins and the location is also great to get anywhere quickly! Really everything perfect and highly recommended!!

My Goldi dog and I were able to spend perfect vacation days here. Everything just great. A very nice landlord family, a beautiful, park-like garden and a very stylish, great cottage, with everything you need. Absolutely perfect! Thank you very much! If Paula is still fit, we will be happy to come back in the fall.

Staying at this property was consistently positive. The place is furnished with a lot of love for detail. All the necessary things for everyday life were available, so that nothing was missing and you could feel completely comfortable. With 6 people we had more than enough space. Various supermarkets are within minutes walking distance. In addition, beautiful cities (Grömitz or Kellenhusen) as well as the sea are a few minutes' drive away.

We had a great time in the house. Everything was great. The furniture, the dishes, etc. everything very high quality. We felt comfortable from the first day and the garden was also beautiful. There were 5 of us with our 2 year old son and grandparents there and had a nice break.

We had a wonderful few days in the gatehouse! There was really nothing missing. The location is wonderfully quiet in nature, you can quickly reach various Baltic Sea beaches or you can also spend the time on the farm and in the immediate surroundings. Especially with children, it's really perfect! The apartment is extremely tastefully decorated, very spacious and sparkling clean. We especially liked the beautiful outdoor area, where you could sit and have breakfast very idyllically. Friederike was very friendly and accommodating, thanks for everything - we will be happy to come back!
