We had an awesome stay. It was girls/moms weekend away. Got to sleep in each morning on comfy beds as late as we wanted but seeing the sunrises was great too! All the furniture was super comfy. The cottage had all the amenities we needed and more. The lake was picturesque and the grounds were beautiful. The hot was the icing on the cake for us ladies though. Clean and the perfect temperature. I would absolutely recommend staying At Orkney Beach and would love to come back again in the summer for a longer stay. 3 night wasn't enough. Murray was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks so much for hosting us!!

Bettys cottage was an excellent getaway from Toronto, with lots of water activities, with the cottage being right on the water. The cottage itself was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and Betty was an excellent, accommodating and responsive host, with helpful local recommendations, and advice and tips. We would not hesitate to book this listing again. Behrooz was a lovely host and very communicative. Everything was as described and instructions were clear. We especially liked how things were labeled in the home so there was no confusion. Moreover, Behrooz was more than happy to clarify any questions we had. We were in town for a concert at Casino Rama, so we especially loved how close this was to the casino. The home was well equipped and accommodated our family of 3 and our best friend's family of 4. I should note the hot tub, sauna and seating area down by the water were amoung the highlights. The children aged 9, 10 and 11, also loved the games room.

Music Themed camper on Lake Simcoe (NEW 2022)

Tamara’s Rock and Roll Runner was the perfect way to introduce my kids to camping. The trailer was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated with the music theme throughout, and stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, towels and bedding. The stove and oven came in handy, and we cooked on the propane BBQ as well. Unfortunately our weekend came right after a fire ban was implemented in the region due to dry conditions and Northern Ontario wildfires - we couldn’t have evening fires as planned, but we didn’t let that ruin our mood. We made s’mores in a foil pan on the BBQ and they were just as good. The full fresh water tank lasted us all weekend and using the trailer bathroom prevented midnight runs to the “comfort station” with my 7 year old, so well worth it. My two boys loved the bunk beds and board games, and were stoked to find out we could even have a family snuggle on the bed and watch a movie (DVD) after a long day of hiking and playing. The 7yo rated our weekend 15 stars! :)
