It was a pleasant stay and close to Bordeaux and even closer to cute towns along the river like Blaye. Lots to see and many wineries nearby as well! The accommodation is exactly as described and well worth it for the price.

Lovely hosts in a lovely part of the world. If you are looking for peace and quiet - WOW. The experience of the vineyards is only interrupted by frogs and the occasional windy day.

Lovely, homely house in incredible location surrounded by vineyards and superb views. Pleasant 5 minute walk into St Emilion so we didn’t use the car all the time we were there. St Emilion is beautiful, with some excellent restaurants, interesting architecture and very nice people. Sophie was really nice and helpful, and went out of her way to make sure we had a great time - we really appreciated her letting us access the property early. We would definitely visit again.

Stayed one night only, I can only recommend it. Very close accommodation, beautifully decorated and very well-equipped. Very comfortable. Ideal location in a quiet and nice setting only 30 minutes from Bordeaux. Late and last-minute booking but very responsive and friendly host. The fact that animals are accepted is a big plus for me, who travels with my 2 dogs (who also enjoyed the presence of the hosts' friendly dog!). I'll be sure to come back when I come back to Bordeaux. Thank you!

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

What a beautiful home and a fabulous pool , many an evening was spent around it , we were totally relaxed after our stay and would highly recommend Our hosts were really accommodating and vet helpful and at the end of a message and were quick to respond . Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

A little piece of heaven in the countryside with a great view. Impeccable accommodation, beautifully decorated and very well-equipped. Quiet, total disconnection. Impossible to get bored, you'll have your choice of barbecue, idleness, games room with billiards, darts and foosball... and the wow SPA. As for the hosts, Patricia and Franck, they are very welcoming, adorable, very friendly and full of nice little touches. In short, it was perfect, we highly recommend it and we plan to return. Accommodation as described, welcoming and flexible host. The place is close by car to the supermarkets and downtown Jonzac, and the subdivision is quiet and pleasant

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

We felt very comfortable in Karine's beautiful house and were able to enjoy our stay very much despite bad weather. Karine and her aunt Chantal, who welcomed us very well, are very friendly, helpful and straightforward. Surroundings is quiet and idyllic yet very close to the beautiful town of Jonzac with bakery, shops and everything you need - we will be happy to come back.
