Cozy guest house and sauna in a wild tree species park. There are about 250 different species of woody trees and shrubs in the two-hectare area. The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. Self-service - A small, neat studio in a good location close to the science park and university. High quality (120cm) bed. Expandable sofa bed that can be made into a 120 cm bed. The kitchen is small but has just been renovated. Basic cooking equipment is available. Coffee and tea can be found in the cupboard. In the closet you will find clean sheets and towels if you don't have your own. Cleaning the apartment to its original condition when leaving, so the next one is nice to come! ✌️

The studio is for 2 persons, but can accommodate up to 4 people: additionally we can add 1 cot + fold-out bed for extra 50 euro, agreed in advance. Villa LHJ Heinämäki

Villa was build 1999-2000 as a second home from the family with basic facilities criteria for everyday living. Basic principle was to have a place to calm down but also a house for remote work in home village. Place is pretty nice on top of the hill, scenery is wide almost all over ... tens of kilometers. Style is rustic with a light twist of retro functionalism. Now we have moved 200m, on the opposite side of the road, and we offer Villa for our quest. Your sincerely Leena & Juha

Villa Lammenranta Suite

Welcome to Lammenranta. We are a couple from Joensuu and we rent the downstairs of our house. The guest can access a spacious room with their own entrance. There is also a private toilet and laundry room, as well as a washer. The space has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle. Cutlery and crockery. Pets are welcome, there is a 10€ fee. We do not have an electric car charging facility. The nearest fast charging point is 600 meters away.

This unique and peaceful retreat makes it easy to relax. The car can be parked next to the apartment. Karsikko Elementary School was built in 1892. The teacher's apartment is a personal and atmospheric 55 m2 home. Shared facilities: Shower and laundry are located in the common areas. The idyllic environment and the apartment's high ceilings give space and peace of mind. It is forbidden to have parties. There are a few apartments in the building.

Kuohu - sauna cabin on the shore of a rapid

Kuohu is an atmospheric, warm sauna cottage built in 2015 on the banks of a small river. In the noise of the rapids, you can relax in the sauna, barbecue or campfire. The cottage is located along a small sandy road, completely in its own peace. Koli National Park is about a 30-minute drive, Höytiäinen beach is just over 2km away. We rent canoes and have picnic packages with local products.
