The house is build from an ancient cave, behind Santa Maria La Nova main church. The big garden is the natural extension of the house.. hammock, fireplace, tables and spaces among olive and lemon trees, hidden from tourists routes, perfectly inside the village.

We have restructured our grandparents’ home and we would like to offer you an experience characterized by simplicity and hospitality, to understand and appreciate the value of the family we grew up with. We have combined tradition and design, maintaining the original structure of the house and re-using the materials available in the old house . We have combined these antique materials (and objects) with a modern thought of aesthetics and comfort.

Trullo Nonna Pina

Ancient Saracen Trullo from the 1400s, recently renovated. In a single space, an area has been created with a double bed, a small kitchen equipped with everything and with a dishwasher, a bathroom with a large shower, and a private veranda with an umbrella, deckchairs, and a table. The trullo is not isolated but located in an area with 2 other trulli used for rentals (a very small village). In front of the trullo there is a pine forest with a relaxation area and plenty of space to walk .

You can live in an ancient cave house built by stone quarrymen and renovated respecting the historical features but with all modern comforts. The environment you will find will be unique, enveloping, so you can immerse yourself in an oasis of serenity and tranquility. You can also take advantage (included in the price) of the Wellness Area equipped with a Turkish bath, sauna, emotional shower and hydromassage tub with waterfall and be pampered by our massages. The tuff walls give it an ancient vibe to transport you to another time. It can be reached on foot, via a footbridge that takes you directly to the square where the property is located. It is perfect for short stays of complete relaxation, but with the fully equipped kitchen you can make the most of it.

My house is a typical house in Stones of Matera, partly carved into the rock and partly built in tuff. The spaces have been furnished with a hint of reference to the history of the peoples who have lived for centuries in these caves, without removing anything from the comfort that modernity has given us. At your disposal you have a warm and atmosphere environment where you can feel at home, as in the childhood casda where scents and colors will take you back in time.

The apartment, with a separate entrance, is located in the historic center and is completely renovated. With attention to detail, the loft is designed to enhance the contrast between ancient and modern, with living stone walls and exposed beams that blend into the industrial chic style. The space, equipped with every comfort, has a kitchen, TV, coffee machine, fiber WiFi A hot tub, inside a vault at the foot of the bed, offers guests moments of relaxation.

The cave

My accommodation is in the town's historic center It is only 10 km from Terme of Sorano, while 20 km from Bolsena Lake and Saturnia (spa). You'll love my place because it's bright, panoramic, clean, and welcoming. Suitable for couples, sole adventurers, families (with kids) and furry friends (pets). Note: if the reservation is for two people it means only one bed, for an extra bed it is necessary to book at least for 3 people.
