[RusticMajella]Terrazza+Panorama

Great, quiet place where you can completely relax. Sunbeds and a hammock next to the fruit orchard, mountains as a view, visits from a red kite and collared redstarts for the bird lovers, firefly show in the evening and a pygmy owl in the distance. Those who love nature love this place. The bed is wonderful, the shutters make the rooms nice and dark, screens are attached everywhere, the shower is a bit small for tall Dutch people like us. Lina and Mario were super helpful and communicative. Villages in the area are nice to visit. Do not expect large crowds of tourists, you can visit ruins alone (in June at least). Some roads in the area chosen by navigation are "adventurous" to drive. The main roads are fine to do.

Apricot House

We had a very relaxing stay in a beautiful home in the peaceful little village of Roccascalegna. The home was even better in reality than the photos. We found the local townsfolk to be very friendly and loved the local restaurants as well, especially Civico20 and the Corvo. Would definitely love to stay in Apricot House again.

Very happy with Marck's apartment. Very well located, very close to beautiful streets to take pictures of Casoli. The shower is excellent! 1A water pressure Marck is an excellent host, you can tell he cares about the guest being happy and having no problems!

Rosario by Interhome

DesmondRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The setting of the house is stunning, on a cliff, looking up to the ruined old village of Gessopalena. The house is accessed down a very steep but well-surfaced road from the village. It’s completely private (just one other house, unoccupied when we were there), and surrounded by birdsong and other wildlife in the forest all around. Lovely terrace, which is hot in the mornings, but nice and shady in the evenings. Great BBQ. Both the rear and side of the garden end in vertical cliffs. Lots of hot water for showers. The kitchen is small with no dishwasher and limited space for preparing or storing food. With a large fridge and freezer. Inside, the house is of modern, concrete construction, and is somewhat soulless, but the stunning outdoor setting makes up for this. Gessopalena is a thriving village with bars and restaurants. The house was a lovely place to stay and Rosario the host was helpful and kind. Extra cost of €5 per person for towels.
