Beachfront vacation rentals in Isla Mujeres

We ended our honeymoon here and it was the perfect end to our trip. The view is absolutely stunning and the place has everything we would need. The laundry was really helpful for us as well. We would love to stay here again!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! It was everything we hoped it would be, and more. The home was beautiful inside and out. The decks were gorgeous, and we had so much fun floating by the dock and lounging in the small pool, watching and waving to the boats float by on the channel -ranging from fishing boats to huge catamarans, and even a couple of super yachts! We spent probably 80% of our time out there. We vastly preferred the feel of being a block off the main road in a vibrant neighborhood, and the space of a house over being in the overly touristy North Beach area for our stay. That said, that area was a short, inexpensive cab ride away. We did rent a cart for 24 hours to explore the island on our own and hit our favorite Punta Sur spots. (Recommend picking it up in the late afternoon to maximize your usage) Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful! Pretty sure this will be our island home on all future visits!!

Susana is a great host. She went above and beyond to answer our questions before our arrival and throughout our stay. The location is perfect, R1/R2 bus was right in front of the resort, 10 minutes walk to Base Xcaret, where you can catch the bus for Xcaret parks, near lots of great restaurants. We were able to enjoy the two pools on site as well. Overall, a great stay! Thank you Susana.

Hard to describe how magical the shell houses were! Each house was incredible and unique, filled with thoughtful details and artistic touches. Miss Vanessa was amazing and helped arrange many things to celebrate my birthday including a private chef. Our group of friends loved the stay, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend, it’s dreamy!

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment/condo! It was spacious, very well decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. The air-conditioning and ceiling fans kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The location was ideal for us - right in the centre of the island, so it’s nice and quiet, but still within easy reach of the vibrant North Beach and the more laid-back South. There are plenty of great restaurants all over the island, so you’re really spoiled for choice. The on-site bar and restaurant were a great bonus as it was super convenient, especially for a relaxing drink after a day in the sun. Any noise from the bar ended by 10 pm, so it never disturbed us. We also loved having access to three different swimming pools, especially the rooftop , which was quiet with great views. Julie is a great host who was very welcoming and responsive to our needs, thanks Julie! We’d absolutely recommend this place and would love to return.

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed

Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful suite. The patio was amazing, although we encountered some issues with the hot tub not heating up properly. Despite these minor inconveniences, the suite was incredibly convenient for our location near North Beach and Hidalgo Street. The host and the entire team were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay.

Mami's place is great. Very spacious and comfortable. It has everything you need to have a pleasant stay. Even beach chairs in case you want to go to a nearby beach. Everything was impeccable and there were even courtesies in the refrigerator, which I think is a beautiful detail that not all hosts have.

The place was good, exactly as described. We arrived late to the island but were able to be let in after 10pm. It was nice having a pool to swim in. It’s a great location to walk to the southern most point of the island and see the sunrise. Just be aware that there is not much around the house but it’s very peaceful for walking along the ocean, you just can’t go into the water. I would recommend getting a golf cart or getting the number of any of the taxi drivers in order to contact them whenever you want to head to the north side of the island. There is also a local bus that passes by the house every 30 mins or so that costs around 20 pesos but it’s not the most reliable in the evenings and stops running around 9pm.

Gaby was great! Super responsive, took care of all our requests. The place itself was perfect for what we needed, all toiletries were provided. Gaby also sent a laundry service to us to change the sheets and provide new towels. Although we didn’t use the kitchen, it was fully loaded. The only thing I will complain about is the bed not being very comfortable and the sheets kept coming off even when I would put them back in place.

Thank you very much Julye for our comfortable stay. The apartment was in excellent condition. Everything was provided for relaxation, cooking and going to the beach. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials for cooking. The water in the shower is always available and at the right temperature..The location of the apartment is very close to the beach( 5 minutes), to the ferry 10 minutes and to the supermarket 10 minutes. It is quiet at night. There are many restaurants nearby for every taste .Julye was considerate at check-in and said that she was always available. But during the 11 days there was no need, since everything in the apartment was provided for a comfortable stay and was in perfect condition..

This place was great. I was there with 12 of my best friends and everything worked out perfect staying at Daniel’s place; the house was a great size and the location was very convenient! We enjoyed being right on the beach, and the pool at the house was perfect for what we wanted. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home in gorgeous Isla Mujeres. Love the kitchen and all of the nice appliances they had. They take great care of their home, beautiful decor, and was the perfect place to stay in paradise. Loved the rooftop pool and amazing ocean views. Definitely check out a golf cart if you plan on staying at this location. Their concierge Gustavo was wonderful, was able to connect us to a fantastic local baker, and went over and beyond with recommendations.

A superb location if you are looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the north of the island . Excellent restaurants/beech clubs within walking distance of the accommodation. The apartment was amazing with everything we needed for a great stay. We wouldn’t think twice about staying here again!!

Lisa's home is a perfect location on the island. We wanted a peaceful, beautiful, private place on the ocean and this is it! The location is right in the middle of the island far enough away from the busy north but only a short ride to it on a golf cart or you can walk to town in about 20 minutes. There is also a bus you can ride as well. The beach is rocky but you can still walk along it to a small half-moon-shaped beach only a few houses down. We took morning and evening walks. It was wonderful to fall asleep and wake to the sound of the waves. The house has everything you need. It looks exactly like the photos. Beds were comfortable. We appreciated having a blender for morning smoothies and a frozen cocktail in the evening. We rented a golf cart which can be pricy but it gave us the freedom to tour the whole island, head into town for dinner, shop and find spots to snorkel. The home is a bit pricier than other places but worth it. I highly recommend Lisa's home!

We were so pleased with our stay in this lovely apartment. It has everything we needed to be very comfortable for our stay of close to two weeks. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed is comfy, the apartment has a lot of light and the bathroom is so spacious! We would highly recommend it and would happily stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Saasil. The gardens are impeccable, it was easy to find and it was extremely clean. We enjoyed the pool, the terrace, the beautiful views and the quick access to southern sights of the island. My only minor complaint is no access to on-site laundry- a slight inconvenience when traveling with kids. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful stay in this very zen airbnb located on an island paradise. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We enjoyed a very happy 6 nights in this apartment. It's well located, clean, private and very quiet. We were greeted warmly by Lucia and check-in/out couldn't have been easier. The huge terrace was a great spot to enjoy drinks and games. We appreciated the air conditioning, which kept us consistently cool overnight. We were in close proximity to everything in Centro, including the famous Playa Norte. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

Walkable and quiet. Very close to the breezy east side of the island and about a 10 minute walk from downtown and Playa Norte. Clean and exactly as described/pictured. Great value. I appreciated that beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, and clothesline were provided. AC got to temperature quickly. Would happily stay here again.
