This place is something else. We came 4 families with children and so much fun. There is everything for children and teenagers to have fun. I definitely recommend this cozy house for a short family vacation .

Everything was as expected, Jeremy was very informative. Fast to answer any questions and very accommodating to our girls wrestling team. We would definitely rebook if he would have us again thank you.

This was our 3rd time staying at the Clausen House with our kids and grandkids. It’s great every time. The house is very clean and well stocked with all we need. The kitchen is great and the dining room table is big enough for all grandkids and most adults. The front porch is a favorite and the proximity to City Park is great! We can walk to it. We are making great memories here. Thank you!

What a beautiful place! Exceeded all expectations! Every detail was taken care of down to all bathrooms fully stocked in case you forgot or needed something. I can’t say enough great things about this property. Everything was high end and beautiful! I hope to be able to stay here again! It was perfect!

Loved our stay in Des Moines! My brother in laws and I came in town for a half Ironman. Debbie was amazing to work with through the entire process and it turns out she had done some herself. So in addition to a beautiful home, with great accommodations, we also received helpful tips and words of motivation from her as well. Race weekend turned into a full family affair and l can’t thank her enough for her flexibility in working with us to make the stay as comfortable as possible for everyone involved. Some “on the fly”adjustments were made and she was extremely helpful and gracious throughout. Thank you for making such a special weekend that much better! “Iowa Nice” was experienced in full effect!

Seth was amazing and very easy to work with. The house and property were very beautiful. House was very clean and cant forget about the lovable cat that enjoyed the weekend with us around the bonfire. I would highly recommend this house/property for family gatherings etc! Very beautiful and peaceful place. Loved the scenery it was very beautiful. While sitting at the table there was a male and female cardinal that landed on the railing of the deck right outside of the window. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We loved staying in this lovely home! We had fun playing pool and ping-pong together as a family! It’s not far from a Costco where we stocked up on food for the stay! The beds were super comfortable, too! We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

The Hidden Lodge is a great place to stay! The house made us feel right at home! The basement has a fun setup, and the outdoor fire pit was a great feature too. It was nice being tucked away but still close to the attractions Des Moines has to offer. We would definitely stay again.

The place is exactly as described. The place is an AirBnB and Hotel mix without the pool. Enjoyed the fire pit and all the essentials provided to make the experience care free. Thanks

Had a great stay! Enough space for 4 adults, two teens, and two doggos. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to book in the area. We were in town just for the weekend and had enough room for us all to have a private area and room. Fenced in area was great and no complaints. Would stay there again if we are ever in the area again. Matt was helpful in suggesting local attractions and things to do!

Very peaceful and private area. Rhonda went above and beyond for us to ensure our stay had all the things we needed along with being very responsive and helpful. The game room was a great addition to the property and kept us entertained! The house is clean and has all the basic essentials you’d for your stay.

We had a great stay. Host was very responsive and sent clear instructions for checkin. Location was really good for a family reunion we were attending in Caledonia, MN. Whiel the house is on a highway next to a motel, it was very private and quiet in the house. House has 3 bedrooms (each with a queen size bed) as well as a basement with 2 queen beds, so there was plenty of room for all of us. Most of the house was very clean and neat. There were a ton of amenities and the kitchen was very well stocked. The only bad thing was that someone had put away dirty dishes in the cupboards and drawers. Since the guest is supposed to clean all dishes and put them away before leaving, I am assuming that the previous guests did this. However, the cleaners should probably check for this. I would stay here again if visitng relatives in MN.

Christian and Melissa have a beautiful home with an amazing selection of amenities. My friends and I felt right at home and had an amazing weekend enjoying the pool, hot tub and back patio. Hoping to come visit again once the lake is no longer under construction! Would highly recommend!

We stayed at this house for the National Speech and Debate Tournament, and it was absolutely amazing. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit—perfect for relaxing after long days. There was plenty of space for all of our students to sleep comfortably, but what really stood out was how much room there was for everyone to spread out and have their own space when needed. The layout is ideal for a large group, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I would strongly recommend this house to any group traveling together. It made our trip even more memorable!

This property was everything we hoped for and more! A beautiful, serene location with beautiful views of the golf course and an amazing pool! This host had the things often lacking at rental properties - bag clips, ziploc bags for leftover food, toiletries, sunscreen, pool floats - they thought of everything! The home and property were very clean and the home was spacious. We LOVED this spot for our book club get-away and we will definitely be back! Fantastic! 5+ stars!

Our group loved the place. We hosted a staff event in the area and the ones who stayed in this location got rest and rejuvenation 😃 we are hoping to continue to host our staff there in future events.

This place was more perfect than I could of imagined. Location was great and house was beautiful. Had plenty of space for my 9 buddys and I. We all got along well with the owners and was actually pretty nice having them around. Id definitely stay at this place again. Worth the drive and money. Thank you!

The home is large and great for many people. The party barn was an amazing place to hang out with family and play games. The home and yard is very private, we saw deer running across the yard. The check in and check out was so easy.
