Having the use of a boat was awesome, and the lake was great for fishing. Very good sound proofing between the duplexes. Never heard the neighbors once!

It is 5 minutes from the Interlochen Art’s Accademy & State park. 10 minutes from Traverse City, 35 minutes from Sleeping Bears Sand Dunes & you will find a lake close by no matter which direction you go. Incredible Mo’s is 7 minutes away with bowling alley, game room, laser tag & pizza. Interlochen golf course is 2 minutes away, also Skiing & Snowmobiling are close by.

These two Cabins are located on my 4 acre tree farm of my 20 acre property. Very private Park like setting with beautiful sunsets. One cabin is the bedroom/ living space, with a TV Blu-ray player, and a 6' covered porch to watch the sunsets. The other cabin is the kitchen, dining and bathroom. See pictures. They are about 20' apart. The price includes both cabins. They both have heat, the sleeping/ living cabin also has A/C . There are so many things to see and do within 30 minutes of here.

There is on 27.5 private acres to explore with a mile trail and Stanley Creek running thru the property. It has 1/4 mile driveway, very private, comfortable space. There is wildlife about. It has plenty of space for parking a boat trailer with easy access to power outlets. There is a fire pit with wood to burn available.

Very cute and cozy log home located on a 7 acre wooded lot! Great central location for everything that Northern Michigan has to offer!! 3.5 miles from Interlochen Arts Academy. Traverse City and Crystal Mountain are only 20 miles away and "The Most Beautiful Place in America" Sleeping bear Dunes is only 35 minutes away. Lost lake pathway is just a mile and half down the road which is great for hiking and biking!

Wind Down Up North, Traverse City area rental

It is hard to put in words how wonderful it was to spend time at Elizabeth's place. It was so peaceful and quiet and allowed me to focus on a work project and rest. All the little homelike touches made her place feel like your own home without the feeling that you were intruding on a private home. I would recommend this little place for anyone the is seeking a getaway from the city. And as a bonus, a short drive into TC! Thank you, Elizabeth for being a wonderful host and opening your home up for others to share. I'll definitely be back.

Our stay was so much fun we extended it a day! The house was in a quiet neighborhood, and we loved the secure fenced yard for our dog. The house was clean and cool, and we appreciated the comfy beds and washer and dryer. The espresso machine was an added bonus, and the adorable garden in the side yard was a fun addition. Tessa made everything easy and stress free from beginning to end!

A spacious outdoor patio area features a round dining table surrounded by six chairs, shaded by an umbrella. A propane grill is positioned nearby. The well-manicured lawn and the back of the house complete the serene outdoor setting.

I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a great location. Check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. The small touches like a hair dryer and makeup mirrors in every bathroom really made it feel like home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Our 4 person vacation group had a great 3 night stay at Shirley's beautiful lakefront home. The view was spectacular and the house was clean, neat, comfortable and perfect. Shirley and ray greeted us at check-in, walked the property and house with us, and Ray gave us area history, recommendations and a map showing the best local beaches, restaurants, hikes and wineries. This house is highly recommend.
