Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Innerstaden

Cozy cottage in a quiet courtyard in Visby inner city within the walls. Ruins and alleys next to the knots. Spacious to be in an old town. There were four of us, two adults and two teenagers and not crowded at all. Convenient with walking distance to everything in downtown Visby.

Eva gave clear instructions and was very welcoming when we picked up the keys. The room was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located—just a short walk from the harbour and the city center. Highly recommended! 😊

Very good accommodation for the family with children near Visby. Super cozy old cottage with a lot of charm. Peaceful surroundings and with great amenities. Great that we could also use parts of the plot to play with the daughter. Super lovely patio with evening sun. Convenient walking distance into Visby. Therese was a very nice and welcoming host. We could NOT have asked for a better stay! Honestly, the pictures do not do it justice; it’s even more stunning in person. The location is fantastic - close to everything yet so peaceful. The park and St. Olaf Churxh right next door are stunning. The home was beautiful, full of amenities, and a very upgraded feel. The patio is the heart of the house. I wish we could have stayed a week! Cecilia was a great communicator and very kind. We highly recommend this stay!

We were enchanted by the cottage. It was peaceful, extremely clean, and filled with lovely touches throughout. It was walkable to anywhere in the old city. Our kids loved the beds, which felt like their own cozy nooks. Kristina was very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Would recommend to anyone visiting Visby!

This little stuga is secluded, in the middle of the forest. The check-in was hassle-free, the landlord was on site. But otherwise everything would have worked out well, because the communication was flawless. I was here at the end of May and actually just wanted to survive a rainy day and some cold, but spontaneously extended because I felt so comfortable. It is a great location and absolute tranquility. The laundry facilities outside were lovingly designed and so was the outdoor toilet, even cooking outside was no problem. Thanks for 4 great nights in this lovely place.

Annika’s appartment is stylish in a modern Scandi way. It’s equipped will all you need (and more!) for a comfortable stay. Suitable also for business with a computer desk foldable conveniently by the end of the work day. As a host Annika is fantastic. Helpful and friendly, suggesting ideas for local explorations. Make sure you don’t miss her guide she had put together (available on her profile). If your dream of owning a hotel comes to life, Annika, I will make sure to ci w by, you have a lovely personality and one can tell you really enjoy hosting! A special thank you for the trouble you took to equip your appartment with dumbbells on my suggestion. It was super kind, just as all complementary snacks you left me. I had a wonderful stay and can’t recommend you enough to book your stay at Annika’s place.

Very satisfied with nice but simple modern aparthotel. Access to pool and parking was great, too bad the pool closed already at 5 pm. Pontus is a super host, quick, helpful and nice. Highly recommended!

Super cute place, has everything you need! Neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend for a solo traveller. Sara and Henrik were very responsive and accommodating. A bit of a walk from the old town but there is a bus stop is nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

Miriam is a great host. Her place is also wonderful. It is located right next to all touristic spots. Further, her place is well shielded from the touristic crowds by having a separate door and yard etc. Miriam is a very helpful person. She went out of way several times to help me: (a) She helped me wash my clothes in her washer. She also placed them on the clothes hanger to get dried (b) When I requested for a certificate of stay, she printed, signed and then sent me scanned copy along with the original. (c) On the day of departure, she helped me book a taxi. For some reason I was not able to connect to the taxi place. So, she called them and then waited until the taxi came to pick me up. She is really helpful person who truly empathizes with her clients. If I come to Gotland, I will surely stay at her place again.

A perfect accommodation in the middle of the events in Visby, close to everything. The room is very nice and nicely decorated and an extra plus that sheets were included, as well as final cleaning. In the bathroom, there were hygiene products and nice towels and even slippers that increased the already positive feeling. Really recommend this accommodation, where you get a service-oriented response-oriented treatment from everyone involved. We'd love to come back!

George is a great host. Fantastic communication and so helpful. The flat is in a quiet street and absolutely perfect for exploring Visby and the island. A two minute walk to the Botanical garden, a 5 minute walk to the sea and 5 mins to the main square/ places to eat. Perfect! The flat was clean and had everything we needed.

This is an excellent place to stay. Everything you could ask for.
