Warksburn Old Church: Style & Sustainability

GillyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Warksburn Old Church is an incredibly special place. Recently renovated, this unique property features a state-of-the-art interior surrounded by the stunning stone and stained glass windows of the original 19th-century church. The tasteful decor has the vibe of a boutique hotel complete with luxurious and thoughtful details throughout. The spacious kitchen is perfectly equipped and if you don’t feel like cooking, there is a great pub restaurant in walking distance. We were warmly welcomed by owners Anne and Alan who were extremely helpful in guiding us through the house and giving us valuable tips for the local area. We were a party of five, including a small child and were very comfortable throughout our stay. This property is a peaceful and calm haven and makes for an ideal base from which to explore the stunning scenery and Roman remains of Northumberland. Highly recommend!

Brilliant stay with Neil and Nicola. The room is so cosy and comfortable - the photos don’t do it justice. Hosts were really responsive and helpful collecting us and dropping us back in chollerford the following day. Couldn’t fault the accommodation - all just brilliant!

Hadrian's Wall Cottage

CatherineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely cottage and enclosed garden with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Fiona was very responsive, the cottage was spotless and clean and lots of little extras were left for us, fresh eggs, biscuits, milk, wine etc. Would return again.
A spacious living area is adorned with large windows that allow ample natural light to fill the room. A plush sofa and armchair, styled in rich fabrics, are arranged to maximize the views of the surrounding countryside. A chandelier hangs elegantly from the ceiling.

Cosy Cottage ideal for Explorers & City Escapers

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Parlour has got to be one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. Claire’s attention to every detail was flawless. You have absolutely everything you may need for the most comfortable stay. It is spotlessly clean. We simply loved The Parlour! Claire provided great ideas for places to visit. The location is perfect to explore Northumbria with amazing walks along Hadrian’s Wall and visiting Roman ruins along the way. Thank you Claire for a most memorable stay. We’d love to come back very soon !

Hyem - Northumberland Nook

MatthewRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The location is amazing, you feel like you are in the depths of the countryside whilst still being close to surrounding towns / places to visit. The site is on its own so very private. It’s fantastic to have your own secure grounds too, especially if you have a dog! The building itself is well equipped, very romantic and tastefully designed. The Hikki bath is amazing to use under the stars, we even went in when it was raining one night. The owners, Tom & Hannah were both very attentive if we needed anything and informative / proactive before our check in date to make sure everything was right for our stay. Thank you for a special stay!

Secluded Woodland Cabin in North Cumbria

MaiaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a lovely few days in our cabin! The cabin is spacious and has everything you need inside. Nice little area to sit out in with the dog as well. We brought a long line and tied it to the porch so our pup could explore round the cabin. Definitely recommend for a cosy weekend away
