Stayed here a couple of times since March as we're working at a nearby quarry. Heather is lovely, accommodating, and very welcoming. The home is warm and welcoming, and ideally situated for walks in the hills/mountains nearby :)

We had a lovely weekend here,the place was a little cold on arrival due to the weather but soon warmed up . Place was spotless in a good location and the beds were comfy and the kitchen well equiped

A brilliant stay - very attentive hosts and a lovely, clean home away from home. It made the perfect base for us to explore the Lake District, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will definitely be visiting again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning spa chalet with my partner, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Inside, the chalet was beautifully designed, with cozy interiors, tasteful décor, and every modern comfort thoughtfully provided. We had a lovely stay at Blossom Cottage this weekend and were impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the cottage. We found free parking in a bay and there were so many gorgeous bars and places to eat a short walk away - we enjoyed Mario's Italian for dinner and Mculloghs Bar for drinks. Access via the lockbox was simple and the hot tub was lovely too. No complaints other than would have expected to find shower gel in the bathroom (not a complaint, just remember to take some). Thank you Jessica! We would come again.

Imogen's place is beautiful! it's in a gorgeous location, a beautiful and clean house, and has a gorgeous yard to sit in. Imogen was really accomodating and even let me know that we were able to check in early if we wished. A beautiful place, beautiful house (with a view of the castle from the road) and a wonderful host.

Great apartment, fantastic central location. Clean and spacious. Furnishing to very high standards. Equipped with everything that you need for a short stay.

Jeanette's place was the perfect getaway. Beds were very comfortable and warm. The views from all the windows and sunroom were just stunning, we were happy to lounge around when it rained as the scenery was so delightful, we didn't feel the need to go anywhere. Great bathrooms with heated towel rails with good towels. We just loved our stay here.

Lovely clean flat with all amenities-super extra touches with fresh flowers, milk, biscuits etc. Great local maps with information about shops, restaurants and attractions. In fact the whole experience really could not have been better!

Only stayed one night before a wedding we were going to the next day but was perfect for us. Ray even accommodated us with the check out time which we were extremely grateful for. If we need to stay in the area again we’d try booking here again. 🙂

Enjoyed our stay at Kate's place for a second visit. Has all the amenities we needed and we can feel very relaxed there. Kate was very helpful with our booking. She dealt very promptly with one minor maintenance issue. She's a thoughtful host and there were fresh flowers, milk and biscuits to welcome us. We enjoyed chatting to Kate. I recently stayed at the Lakeside View Apartment for just one night, and I have to say it was a lovely experience! The room was beautifully decorated to such an high standard and really felt like a cozy retreat. One of the highlights was definitely the huge bath with a jacuzzi – it was perfect for unwinding. Checking in was a breeze, which I really appreciated after a long day. The communication with the host was also great; they were quick to respond and made everything smooth. All in all, it was a fabulous stay, and I left feeling relaxed and happy. I would definitely recommend this place for a short getaway!

We had a lovely weekend for my wife’s birthday staying at Fay’s apartment, everything is right on your doorstep, lots of pubs and eateries a short walk away, the apartment is really nice and homely, loved all the little personal touches and she was very helpful and always replied very quickly, thanks again Fay and we will definitely be booking with you again x

Just stayed here for the one night and just what we needed. Great little place.

Man’s communications were excellent and the stay was exactly what we were looking for. Given the location the price was extremely reasonable for the size of the property. Mak was even kind enough to gift desert which was delicious!

Just back from three nights and we had such a wonderful time. The property is in a great location with it being walking distance to bowness but also secluded. Kitchen amenities all great, excellent spec bathroom and very clean all round. We had a couple of questions which were answered very quickly. Highly recommend and we will be booking again.

Such a lovely place, had a nice girly weekend for my hen do with my bridesmaids and maid of honour and the hosts were really sweet. They were happy to co-ordinate with my maid of honour so the whole thing was a really nice surprise and it was overall really private and peaceful with such stunning views. Would highly recommend and think we will definitely be booking again 🤍

We stayed here for a weekend away as a group of school mates all turning 30. The property was the perfect base for us, providing us with the best possible experience. We’re an active, activity based bunch and this stay had something for everyone. Multiple activities, from the pool table, darts board, table tennis, air hockey, and yes the Pool and Sauna. Many of my friends couldn’t believe just what we had found for this stay. Private use of the pool is a great bonus. All beds were made, fresh linens and towels provided. We used the kitchen to cook our breakfast each morning. There’s ample parking for 3-4 vehicles inside and plenty on street right next to the property, which is a quiet street so not a stress. Whilst the decor is aged, we are not particular on this and found it added to the charm. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and spots to relax. We would stay again! The host was fantastic in communication and response to questions posed and made the whole process easy.

A wonderful half term long weekend with our teenagers. Super quiet location, but close enough to Lancaster to make a dash into the city easy. Smashing property with jus the right mixture of character and modernity. Will be back.

Enjoyed a memorable weekend with the family in this house. Location was ideal, right in the heart of one of our favourite places with pubs, restaurants and good walks nearby. House has so much character and has all the facilities you need for a large group of people. Housekeepers that we met were very friendly and welcoming.

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Really brilliant place. Lovely house and great amenities. Really well stocked (unusual to have such good wine glasses!!). Well def use again!
