What a wonderful spot and cottage to fully unwind for a couple of days. The cottage is set in the most peaceful and beautiful of settings, with easy access to the lake and beach area. The cottage was quirky, quaint and eclectic and we all felt at home and relaxed as soon as we stepped in. The added extra touches from Mark and Ruth were lovely and we felt really welcomed to their space. The cottage has everything you need and it made for a peaceful and relaxing few days to relax and recharge. Thanks again for letting us stay.

Lakeside Barn w/ fantastic views & Hot-Tub

KarenRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We arrived on the Friday for a 3 night stay. The Barn is in a beautiful place inside and out. The Hot Tub was lovely on an evening and the patio fire was great to sit around for drinks early evening watching the Sun go down. Casterton village is only a couple of miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The village its self had a gorgeous pub 7 mins walk from the Barn which had a great range of food and served Sourdough pizza on Sunday evening after 1700hrs with a lovely warm atmosphere and open fires. There is a great taxi service and some fabulous restaurants near to the Barn. The Black Bull and the Highwayman were fabulous. (We did go to Number 9 also and it was not somewhere I could recommend, service and food really poor.) Patrick and Anika were great responsive hosts and this is a do not miss property, that offers every you need for a fabulous stay. Our little group loved it. Thank you Karen, Denise and Naomi

What an absolute gem we found in Apple House. The pictures really don't do the whole place justice! A cosy, romantic house set in beautiful, serene surroundings. It really was the perfect location for our mini moon! Was lovely to be greeted by the chickens and Russel the dog each morning <3 We were treated to some tasty welcome gifts and the place was spotless, very comfy bed and just the most charming decor. Thank you so much Emma and Craig! We will definitely be returning with more of our family!

Seamstress Cottage Ripponden

HollyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Absolute gem of a cottage. Sarah is a fabulous host, was so responsive and maintains the property in an excellent fashion. The cottage itself is beautiful, the views out the back are brilliant and there is everything in the cottage to make for a comfortable stay. If I have one slight negative comment it is that parking can be a little limited on the road outside, however this should not put you off booking but to just be aware if you are like us and have lots of bags- you may have a bit of a walk up the road!

Burnside cottage in idyllic Dales location.

KevinRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay at Burnside Cottage. The cottage is really comfortable with lovely personal touches. The kitchen is well-equipped and we enjoyed ‘chilling out’ in the cosy lounge. The bedroom is spacious with a comfortable bed. There is also a large bathroom. Alyson was very friendly and helpful. She suggested places to visit. Our dog had fun playing with Alfie, Alyson’s dog in the large, secure garden. We appreciated the scones and our dog enjoyed his treats. Burnside Cottage is in a quiet, picturesque setting with beautiful walks on the doorstep. It is a 10 minute walk into Hawes where there are independent shops as well as a good choice of cafes and pubs. Thank you, Alyson for being an excellent host. We look forward to a return visit.

Riverside stone cottage, stunning mountain views

BryanRating, 5 starstoday
We stayed at Lisa’s property for 2 nights in June. The place is gorgeous quirky and well put together. Lisa has accommodated lots of details for her guests in the house, whether you just want to relax or be sporty with walk’s and cycle storage. The house location is stunning with water running and sheep. The area is close to Coniston and all the main lakes as well as Windermere for a 35 minute drive. We toured about the area however there’s lots to do even if you just wish to relax with a book and gaze outside at the hills. There is a local boozer which works out a mile away by car we had an evening meal with starter and drinks. Angela and I wish to thank Lisa for a fantastic few days we plan again to rebook for next year for 3-4 days. Thankyou

We have just spent a couple of wonderful days walking up penyghent. Moira's cottage was wonderful. Really clean and cosy and stocked with everything we needed. The walk up to pen-y-ghent starts literally right outside the doorstep which is very handy and a comfortable bed is exactly what we needed after the long walk. Thank you Mouira for your hospitality.

Tiny quaint cottage in the heart of settle.

GeoffreyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The interior has been designed with care and attention. Lots of thought has clearly gone into everything. It says it's small and it is! A good option if you're looking for something cosy, but probably not if you want a lot of space to spread yourself out. My daughter and I were very happy there.

Characterful one bed property above Hebden Bridge

LizRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolute bliss. Brian and Carolyn have clearly put a lot of time and effort into creating this gem. They have thought of everything, no expense has been spared and the result is a comfortable, calming and relaxing space that we would recommend to anyone. They are friendly and welcoming hosts, always responsive and happy to provide tips and advice about the local area. Do try Carolyn's delicious granola! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for a few days' self catering. Everything is spotlessly clean. Great thick curtains in the bedroom and a comfortable bed make for a good night's sleep. The sauna is a real treat, a gorgeous place to unwind with a book and take in the wonderful view. Transport to nearby Hebden Bridge is easy as the bus goes from the top of the drive and the services are regular. There is a good walk down to the town on well established paths; the canal walk through to Mytholmroyd is lovely. We loved it here and hope to return very soon.

We had a lovely stay at Molly’s cottage! We stayed for our 5 year anniversary and it was incredibly serene and peaceful. It was really spacious for 2 people and had everything that was promised. Lots of great music choices for the CD player, great board game options and some great reading material. It was squeaky clean and beautifully decorated. The log burner was perfection for a cosy night in. Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We’ll definitely be back! X

Debra Cottage by Gunnerside Ghyll,

TomRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We’ve loved our stay at Debra Cottage! Despite booking very last-minute Carolyn couldn’t have been more accommodating and responsive. The cottage is in a beautiful location with plenty of walks starting right from the front door. It’s a lovely village, and we were made to feel extremely welcome at the pub only a stones throw from the cottage. Would highly recommend to any couples who want a bolt hole and peaceful retreat in the gorgeous countryside of the Dales.
