On cooler days, curl up infront of the in- or outdoor fireplace. Perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy a quiet holiday in an idyllic environment. Maximum 4 adults.

This 130 years old cottage is about 90 m2. It's modern, however furnished in a way to give a cosy atmosphere. The bottom floor; a kitchen and dining room with a classic wood stove, a living room and a bathroom. Your own garden and a large wooden deck to sunbathe, or barbecue. Beautiful area, a crystal clear lake for bathing 200 m away, bordering a nature reserve to enjoy nature. The sea at the dock ~ 700m. 30 mins to Stockholm by "Waxholmboat", bus or car. The archipelago in the other direction.

There is a sauna, bathing dock, sandy beach and grassy areas. Wintertime we drill an ice sink for swimming. Living room with dining table, sofagroup and fireplace. Enjoy 50 m2 houseboat with it’s own sauna and panoramic views of the water. Swim directly from the bedroom. You will have a memorable experience because of the views, the beautiful location, the garden, and the jetty with it’s sundeck. Our boat is suitable for couples who like to surprise or celebrate their partner, adventurers who want to get close to the nature and to still be near Stockholm. A canoe is avalible in summertime. We also offer an add-on spa & wood-heated sauna in eveningtime.

Take boat trips and discover islands further out, easy to get to the harbour by bus. Golf courses 3 km away.

The Archipelago Cottage, on the island of Älgö

The cottage is located in the Stockholm archipelago, on the island of Älgö with a fantastic view over the water. Sunsets, private jetty and a wood-burning sauna. Veranda and patio. The bedroom has a queen size bed. WiFi and TV. The perfect place for two to enjoy fresh air, peace and quiet, sound from water and beautiful Stockholm archipelago. Kitchen; cooktop with induction, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezing compartment. Loft with double bed made of two spring mattresses. Not full headroom upstairs on loft. Living room with kitchen table +chairs and sofa bed. Rent our bikes and or canoe to explore Björnö Nature reserve and the archipelago. Two minutes walk to the closest beach.

After all sorts of adventures in the nature reserve, a paddle, fishing or skating trip on the lake, or a swing into the city, you can come home to this cozy little house and enjoy the lake view and tranquility. Maybe you let the stress run off in the sauna or hammock followed by a swim or a nice outdoor shower. Here you are close to nature and the city at the same time.
