Idyllic forest cabin

Steinsborg is a small forest gem for those who are particularly interested. Drive a few km into the woods on a gravel road, and then you'll be there. The cabin is an old forest hut with simple standard, and outhouse. The food is cooked on a gas stove, and a gas refrigerator keeps the food cool. Water is collected in Steinsvannet right below. There is also a rowboat and a canoe that you can use. In here you can relax and enjoy silence and bird chirping. We will take care of the cleaning afterwards. Welcome!

A small bedroom with a single bed. (Loft with mattresses on the floor) Large plot with beach, jetty and small boat. The cabin is at the end of the road. (No passage) Possibility of fishing. Rich bird life. The cabin is only a 10-minute drive to Mysen and 25 minutes from Sweden and 1 hour from Oslo. No TV or wifi.

The cabin is stacked with kitchen supplies, comfortable beds, private sauna, outdoor fireplace, heat pump, air con, hi-fi equipment, fireplace, baby cot, chairs etc. Please note there is a 100 meter walk from the parking.

Apartment on the small farm

Here is a great place to get away, or if you just need a bed to sleep in! Parking space right outside the terrace of the apartment. Quiet surroundings, possibility to fire up the campfire (we have wood) In the summer we set up trampolines. Short distance to shops and nature around the house 😊 There is the possibility to make up an extra mattress in the living room. There is a dining room table that can be opened. We have 2 rabbits and 2 cats on the farm.

Cozy cabin 1 hour from Oslo

The cabin is conveniently located just a one-hour drive from both Oslo and Gardermoen. Its elevated position allows you to enjoy the magnificent view of Hemnessjøen, a popular lake for fishing all year round. During the summer, you can even borrow a boat to explore the lake. Additionally, there are some wonderful hiking areas in close proximity to the cabin, offering opportunities for outdoor adventures and connecting with nature.

An old croft that has been and still is a ski lodge and Christmas gift house and party rooms has now become a unique place to stay. You are already in the countryside when you walk out the door and ski slopes are right outside when it is snowing or take a skate ride when there is ice on the water nearby. A bike ride is fine in summer and winter but best of all are the beautiful deep forests full of mysticism and beautiful trails.

The brewery house at Fossum farm

Recharge your batteries at this unique and quiet accommodation. Renovated brewery house with kitchen, living room, bathroom and one bedroom. Sofa bed in the living room if you are 3 guests. The host lives on the farm and can offer fresh eggs from the farm's hobby hens. Pond behind the brewery house for play and fun. 45 minutes east of Oslo.
